I know they are in a perpetual fundraising cycle to improve the post but I'm sure that's most of the clubs. We have been a handful of times , mostly for Sunday breakfasts. It's reasonable prices and the food is ok. I've never had an issue with rude people or anything and I have never met the post commander. I've spoken to him on the phone a few times and he seems decent enough. If you qualify for membership, it's a nice outdoor venue for a party. We are having my daughter's graduation party and it's not over the top expensive to use for a few hours. We played bingo there yesterday and it was cheap enough. I've never been to a bingo hall and the last time I played bingo was almost 20 years ago at a church in Massachusetts. We are actually looking to be more visible at the place so I think I will be going quite a bit in the near future.

All were restaurant quality in my opinion (okay, we don't eat out much at fancy restaurants) , -- as the cooks with their volunteer helpers all took pride in what they were doing. The great thing is it wasn't just a bunch of "old guys" like some of the other Posts, but it seems like they are getting a good amount of younger Veterans to balance out the place. Plus, I really liked their long list of volunteer / charity work. So I joined.

Whether it's a pig roast, or a Sunday Brunch, you'll always find a group of wonderful Americans who have served their country honorably, and now are enjoying a beer. I have been to this class multiple times, and Nicole always leads us through creative sequences that are restorative and energizing. She's also very relatable and insightful and has a knack for cracking a joke just at the right time to keep things loose. Overall, I always appreciate the lively atmosphere that Nicole creates where you can be focused but still relaxed. And I always leave the class feeling grateful for the delightful experience she facilitates.

Always something wonderful going on at this post. Different members all working together with no one group thinking it's more important than the other. This is a decent enough organization, and they provide funeral details for veterans that have…read morepassed. That said, I joined as a member but really haven't used any of their resources as they don't really pertain to me, or I can get the service through the local VA hospital. The demographic of the place is graying very quickly, and I fear that like most of the Veteran run organizations like it will die out within 30 or so years. The biggest problem with these places is that they end up being glorified drinking holes for older people who end up alcoholics, and destroy their livers in the process. Too, being a Vet, I don't always want to hear the stories of the past glories told over and over again. I got out, and though share a kinship with other service members; don't feel a real connection to sitting in places like this. This location in particular really needs to be modernized, or possibly adding a restaurant that serves healthier options for older vets with special diets (low sodium et cetera). It is rich in history, but there isn't a defining book or area designated to telling the stories of those who built the organization, let alone what they do for the community.
