The old fashioned is pretty boozy but an easy one to drink, it's your basic old fashion but tasty Master of the House sounded interesting, but I guess I'm not really a fan of spicy drinks (even though I love spicy foods). I ended finishing it but my friends enjoyed it! The equinox is a light and refreshing drink, which could benefit from a little more lemon (or the lemon juice was on the lighter side that day). Overall it's a spot we frequent when visiting our best friends in Littleton. We love the quaint and Victorian atmosphere and he staff has always treated us well.

Its overall chicness in a spacious lounge-style room immediately cooled me down once I arrived (on the day I visited after work, the temperature outside was soaring in upper 80's.) The time was around 4:45pm. If I am not mistaken, their happy hour is 3-5pm. I thought I was in the middle of the HH rush but there were still plenty of seatings available and yet the place was nowhere near empty. And yet, I found just the right spot so I would be away from all the chatters emitting from the people mainly sat at the bar. The selections for wine (red and white) as well as the tap beers are quite the variety. During the HH time, the drinks are only $5 for beer on tap, well mules, wells spirits and any wine on tap. For a chic/elegant/upscale place such as this place, this pricing offer is extremely generous. I simply couldn't think of anything other than refreshing cold white wine so after getting a little suggestion from my wonderful waiter, I went with the Angeline Sauvignon Blanc (the regular price is $12 so I saved $7.) As much as I am a wine person, I don't go by the rigid rules. White win should generally be served between 45°F and 55°F (7°C to 13°C) and yet at home I chill my (white) wine in the freezer for a bit so it will be super cold. This is a must for me. And to my surprise, when they served me the Sauvignon Blanc it was pretty close to the super chill temperature I am used to. As if they read my mind, I was quite surprised and happy with the cold crisp white wine. It was a quick stop to have a little "after work" cocktail on the way home so I didn't get any food and yet that crisp chilled white wine I was served instantaneously made me a big fan of this cocktail lounge. When I asked my waiter when the place opened. He said it opened in 2019. I simply couldn't believe it. If it's been around for this long but the fact that I recently heard about it stunned me. I believe the chips and salsa were made by the food truck that is outside. The Mac and cheese was good but a little overwhelming with the thickness and amount of cheese sauce put on it. The chicken wings were very good, well cooked with great crisp on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. My favorite item were the sliders though. Both styles were really good and for $5 each it is a great value. I enjoyed my experience at Rocket Spirits and will be back to try more of their food and drinks.

It's going to be 3 weeks until we see our images (that seems a little long to me), so I'm going to post based on the party experience then update when we see our images. **Update on images below** Kathryn H. did a pretty good run down of the party itself; when you book, you're seriously wondering how the heck you're going to spend 3 hours and wow does Jacque keep you busy! She'll take you through some pin-up history and "routines" which I appreciated because it really does get you in the mood and ready to put on your best pin-up face come picture time. Jacque was good about keeping things moving forward, but at times we did feel rushed rather than feeling like we had time to enjoy each other's company while we were there. (She seriously gave us "3 minutes" to use the restroom at one point- and she stuck to it!) The description to bring your own food/drinks makes it seem like you'll have more leisure time than you do, but then again I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much more time there either. We did bring food and drinks, and found the most time to enjoy them was during the photo shoot. She has a pretty extensive wardrobe selection which was great because of the 6 ladies there we ranged in size from 4-12, and everyone found something they were excited about and comfortable in. Her wide variety of props is pretty fun too; she made sure each person posed with 3 props during the photo session. The photo session was fun, and I felt like she knew how to work with us to help us get the best pictures, even if again, we felt rushed. I also would have liked if she partnered with a hair/makeup person- that would have been hugely helpful! We found a place to do some of our make-up and hair before we arrived, but it would have been that much better to show up an hour or two early and make that part of the party (for an add'l cost of course!). All in all, it is a great option to do something different for a girls night out. You walk away with 5 individual images, and a few group images, and have the choice to pay extra for all your images. Most of us decided we'd wait to see the images, and would be willing to wait another 3 weeks, before deciding to pay more for it all. **Update on images** It was almost 3 weeks to the day when we received our email announcing our photos were ready. We each had 5 individual shots and 3 group shots. If I was to rate based on my photos alone I would increase my rating to 5 stars, but a couple of my friends' photos were kind of off- some slightly blurry or weird shadowing that made me sad to think those were the "best" 5 images. I was really happy with my images but not to the extent that I wanted to pay $50 to see/own all of them retouched; they're a super fun keepsake and definitely different. It's an incredibly fun thing to do, and the images are really just a bonus to memorialize a great girls' night out. One of our group shots was truly epic and something I'll treasure for life.
