My son is all into Minecraft and any other game that I am willing to buy for the Nintendo switch…read more He's 5, he wants everything and he is not picky. He had a nuclear meltdown because I wouldn't buy the Kirby game he wanted. Rationalizing with an angry 5 year old serves no purpose. He didn't care that Christmas is days away. He's cute and I'm weak. I will probably buy him the game for Christmas. The store has a nice selection, nice enough to drive my son into overload and I was able to take a trip back in time. The store even had the old school Atari game console with the fake wood trim. I don't know what it is called but I know I had one and it was about as advanced as I ever needed. The staff tried to make it all make sense to me. I do appreciate their effort but there is no hope for me . Who knew there were so many gaming consoles. I don't even want to get into the online stuff. The staff at this store can help anyone figure it out. Well everyone but me. They definitely tried.

Love coming here with my husband for a trip down nostalgia lane. The associates here are always…read moresuper chill and helpful. Selection changes all the time but they highlight the top stock in clear display cases. They also have vinyl from the most amazing game soundtracks, local traditional art, stickers and decals as well as plush and accessories from your favorite games. They even have a console museum in the rear of the store that displays all the old gaming systems. Even if you purchase NOTHING it's a fun place to go and explore but you'd be a fool to not get anything. Priced to sell and pretty fair. PRO TIP: Also if you are having issues with a disc game playing, they charge a very small fee to resurface discs!

I was next door getting lunch and thought I'd stop by. I've had my eye on this store for a bit now,…read moreand decided to look around while my food was being prepared. I was open to the Manga I wanted by genre; it was a matter of finding the right one. One, I knew, would keep my attention. My favorite Anime of all time is DeathNote, so I figured this was the perfect selection. Several titles caught my eye, and I look forward to my next visit. The purchase price was reasonable; it was actually a bit less than the cost at some other places, and it was a great buy. The customer service was as I would have expected, courteous and well-versed.

The Store We Like but Keep Trying to Replace…read more We've been here several times with both friends and family. It's a large but otherwise typical nerd store: cards, comics, minis, dice, events. It's all here in one crowded, slightly chaotic package. They've got a ton of bulk Pokémon and Magic cards in large, loosely organized drawers you can dig through for hours. You probably won't find anything rare, but it's a good time if you're the type to go treasure hunting for something. There's a decent selection of tabletop minis, paints, tiles, TTRPG books, and board games, nothing mind-blowing, but more than enough to get a new campaign rolling or add to your collection. The manga and comic section is sizable too, though I can't speak to the quality since that's not my scene. Events happen regularly, which is great in theory but a bit awkward in practice if you're not partaking. If you need access to the back wall where the tables are, you'll likely be squeezing past players mid-match. If it's accessible at all. The entrance can also get pretty bottlenecked depending on how many people are milling around. The store's clean enough for a hobby shop, but if you're a germaphobe, maybe bring hand sanitizer. The staff are helpful when asked and otherwise leave you to browse. Every now and then one might get chatty, but not in a bad way. The whole place is welcoming with that typical nerdy vibe you expect from a place like this. It's a very inclusive store, if that's your thing. The prices are as you would expect. If not on the higher side. We like Generation X. They've got the biggest selection of the stuff we're usually hunting for. Still, I don't know why, but we're always looking for an alternative. Maybe it's the clutter, maybe it's the crowding, or the drive. Either way, it's a reliable go-to even if it's not quite "the one."
