There was a huge variety of acts. Honestly though the MCs were my favorite. They're chemistry and the way they played off each other made the show. The venue was funky. Down stairs and hidden from prying eyes- loved it! They do have food, but we didn't try it this time.

La Burla Bee made us feel welcome right away, the bouncer outside was hilarious and friendly from the start! Once we were seated, our server was super friendly and welcoming and got our order taken quickly. She was great the entire time and didn't laugh when we order a non alcoholic bottle for the table! The cast of the show was amazing! They played along with the crowd, made everyone feel welcome and put on such a great show. We enjoyed every second of it! The after hours dance party downstairs was so much fun, we had a fantastic time dancing and just enjoying our time together. Thank you La Burla Bee!

Their happy hour is buy one get one and last until 8 PM. There is also a nice patio space which is great for the warmer weather. The only downside of it is that it is right on Colfax so there can be unwelcome guests as you are enjoying your beverage. Overall though want to support this local gay bar!

We found street parking and walked over. Metal detectors and ID check at the front. Of course something buzzed for me. Quick pat down and I was in. They have a coat check which is handy. Since my last time here it's been redone. Not surprising as that was years ago. So many rooms of fun and different styles of music. Lots of bars tucked everywhere so you can always buy a drink. And food trucks outside too. We wandered in the different rooms, enjoying a drink and looking at the merchandise for sale. So many talented vendors. The VIP tickets came with a settee and bubbly. We toasted my friend and enjoyed relaxing there between our . The gender neutral restrooms threw me off a little as the urinals are out in the open. I've been in ones with stalls but this was a first for me. The alley was cool as you can play games and eat at the food truck and drink at the bar. We have been friends for 26 years and we took a girls getaway to Breckenridge. I can't begin to say enough positive things about your establishment! The martinis were absolutely scrumptious. Christian is a dedicated young man, and as I told him he is like "an old soul in a young body". I mean that with the highest regard! He is completely squared away, he was personable, kind, and friendly while still tending to all of the guests that were there. One thing that impressed me the most is how he kept his bar so organized.....he has an incredible attention to detail... before he served any drink, he put a straw in it, pulled it out with his finger held over the top of the straw and sampled a taste of the drink, and then would throw the straw away. I've only seen this done at a few establishments, which I can tell you Cecilia is at the top of the list and the epitome of a wonderful experience! The only thing I would ask in return is that the owner of Cecilia's please recognize Christian for all of his efforts. Too often in life, people are very quick to complain about a negative experience and as a result, no one will take the time to reward positive experiences. The bartenders take very good care of you throughout the evening. You can order at the bar or they will come to you and you can order through them. That's a nice gesture, especially in the evening when it tends to get very busy. When going to use the restroom, be aware that you will need to cross over the dart line. So, keep those eyes peeled for those tossing a dart or you'll end up being the bullseye. I did not try the food, but it looked like, from the menu, they have a solid menu for bar food.
