I would not recommend this establishment to anyone due to the service. Also, The Far Side Lounge closes early almost every night of the week, even on weekends. My pool team was going to start practicing at the Far Side on Sundays. We have decided not to do business at this establishment in the future.

I've been to JZ's longe in New York, and I live in Los Angeles. I know the difference between a lounge and a bar. Lounge in the Village only has tables/chairs, and a few booths. The bathroom was clean which was highly appreciated and they were quick to provide toilet paper when I told them they were out. The dj played the music really loud when we were singing karaoke, so we couldn't hear the singer. When I went up to sing I asked her to turn it down so I could hear myself and she got an attitude. Before karaoke began the dj would put a good song on and then cut it off and put a lame song on and patrons would sit down. She was not reading the room at all. I don't think I will go back there. I was in town for the weekend and my friends wanted to go there.
