i was a little hesitant at first to go with a female friend due to the descriptions as a biker bar and Dive bar. Well, i was pleasantly surprised. Mill Hill Saloon is a neighborhood bar with two pool tables. Their customers seem like locals who are there to hang out with their friends. i came to shoot pool, no waiting. The staff was friendly, quick, and the prices very resonable. its just a casual place, atleast during the week, to get a drink and hang out. This is the greatest old school bar. I don't want call it a dive bar because it is so progressive. Great staff, great people, great prices. Open hours where most are not. My recommendation.... Go! Jimmy's son was married. Congratulations to the couple and family. What wasn't good was part of the wedding party wanted to take seats that people were sitting at already. These wedding party people said we are part of the wedding and can do what we want. After speaking to Jimmy, he made no effort to control the wedding party. I can't believe anyone gave this place more than two stars if our experience was typical. Our usual Tuesday night group that goes to a lot of dive bars decided to reconvene for a final drink. Two of us got there quickly and went in, waiting for the third to show up. The place was filthy. They had long tables that were mostly empty except for the debris of the previous occupant. Everything was in need of at least a cursory wipe with a bar rag. Realizing that we were not going to be served unless we moved to the actual bar, we left the relatively clean spot we had chosen. At the bar, which had a bar rag on it, moldering from disuse, we waited . . .and waited. We entertained ourselves by wiping the bar. After a too-long wait, we looked at each other and said, "Let's get out of here!" We intercepted out third and called it a night until next Tuesday. They did have a guy playing guitar all by himself and he was decent, but he was good enough that he shouldn't have had to play at such a ridiculous volume. It's terrible when the volume gets in the way of the music. This place is also known as just "Bloom'S" and as "Bloom's Mill Hill Saloon." If you like this place you probably need to get out more. read more

Unique fun , atmosphere for the real country red neck feel. Wood paneling , with wood bars stools, tables and an outside smoking patio . They play poker too. The place can be loud , obnoxious , wild , quiet , and calm. She can be a whole different kind of animal depending on the caliber of people there on any given night. The bands are usually pretty good and play authentic country old time music. Not the feeling of a strip mall dive bar. This place is classier than that. read more

Great local bar with plenty of character and charm. They have live bands on the weekends and pool tables on the lower level. The staff is generally friendly and the crowd is always interesting. I particularly enjoy the warmer weather when the open the garage doors on the patio that opens up a view of downtown. Definitely a dive bar kind of vibe. Very basic beer selection. The crowd is not my usual crew, but nothing to be scared of. There's a couple of pool tables and a smallish outdoor deck. The music was very loud, and it actually got quieter when the band (a good one) came on. It's not in my part of town, and my companions were not fans, so I doubt I'll be back. read more

My kind of bar! Good ole Country Music for the most part, just sometimes a little too loud for the size of the place. Deffinetly some characters there. One of the few places that don't have prices so high that you can't afford it. Redneck bar. Makes me think of the good ole times that Colorado Springs used to offer. Bloom used to do .50 cent rum-n-coke nights. One time a biker chick tried to molest me in the liquor locker cause I beat her at pool. Now it's just old farts and cranky people, but the view still rocks and so do the bartenders. read more

Always the classiest of toilets. Probably the cleanest toilet on the west side of Colorado Springs. Stall has ample space for stretching one's legs and as a bonus measure there is a hook to hang a coat. Definitely stop in for a drink and a poop. 5 stars. read more

Great place to meet friends after work. Beer prices are truly reasonable. Interesting variety of patrons makes it great westside hangout.

Went there today with my family and friends for breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, the mimosa was pretty good too.
