The average piece of clothing I've bought is around $9! The owner is so sweet, they now have items available online for those of us who live far away. The store is VERY organized. They separate clothing racks by size and type which is helpful especially if you're a 4x or 5x and normal stores through them into general plus size racks. Hands down best plus size store in Utah :)

Prices are very decent. Plus, they have sales often. So today when I went they had (different clothes sizes) bags full of clothes outside for 15$ per bag. Not per item. Per bag. Inside if you found a red sticker then that item was 50% off. Blue sticker, it was 25% off. I found and purchased a navy blue suite jacket for 4.50$. Great condition and very nice looking. There was a lot of pretty dresses, tops, and other items. However, this is a women's only store. I asked if there was a men's section, unfortunately there is not. I will definitely come here again.

Until she pointed out it was a 10k chain and he actually did check it and apologized after. It was super unprofessional of them to do that. He confused it with a 18k chain. I've been here twice and the first time, the pawn broker wouldn't stay open 10 minutes before the closing time and just flat out denied me because I had to go home and get my renewed paper license. I get that it's his call on when to close but the excuse he gave was that it would take him 30-40 minutes to get me into the system and anyone who's ever been to a pawn shop knows that that's blatantly false. I just went today for the second time, I thought maybe last time was a fluke. So I show up, present my items and he gives me a quote on only 1 thing and that was $4. He was going to ring it up but I asked for it back because I needed to groceries by today and I would've liked to get ride of the other 3 things I had instead of going all over town. I asked for it back and he straight up accused me of "talking at/looking at [him] like [he's] an a**hole" simply because I asked for the item back and told him why. I still have zero idea why he thought or said that. I was disappointed and looked him in the eye and said that I didn't mean anything by that, I was only disappointed because I would've had to go to another city to try pawning there and I was more or less out of gas. it was just a big inconvenience at that specific moment but I absolutely said nothing bad or negative to him. We briefly talked about it and he backed off after which I packed my things and amicably split from him. I googled a pawn shop closer than his referral to go to another city and luckily it was still open so I went in, sold my all my stuff and got about 100 dollars in the span of 10 minutes. I've been to a few different shops here and there and VIP was easily the worst experience I've ever had at a pawn shop. I was reticent to write any sort of review the first time because maybe it just wasn't a good day but the service person (tall, big guy, shave head with a beard) confirmed himself to be a run of the mill jerk. I'll never go back there nor will I recommend it to anyone. Just a weirdly random aggressive interaction from that dude. I don't act any differentLu at any other pawn shop or business and I did try to take that into thought after I easily sold my stuff at the second store so I'm confident that I wasn't trying to do anything. Also the other pawn shop told me that he doesn't have a good reputation with customers.

Also, the toys and figures, etc., while decent selection-wise, don't seem to follow any sort of logical pattern, so you wind up having to look at all of the shelves. Maybe this is by design. Also, the checkout counter is in the very back, with all the merchandise between it and the entrance/exit, which is kind of questionable. I can't imagine why you would ever want that, unless shrink is not a concern. This does have potential, but the layout is kind of a mess.
