I purchased a PSP 3000 along with a game and the game came without the white cover, which is completely useless at that point. Then the game console was unusable! On the manual it said I can get a refund or a replacement. I asked for a replacement and they said they'll give me a refund, fine, then weeks later they said they can't give me a refund at all. They sent me a new PSP which thankfully worked, but they made me pay for express shipping, which I wasn't aware of until I had to go to the post office to get the console. I purchased $151 of retro PSP games from their sight. Two games to be exact. Not sure why it took nearly two weeks to come to this conclusion. Overall just really poor service for a first time buyer with you guys. Was bouncing off the idea to make the purchase for a few weeks. The fact that you had these items listed in your storefront for weeks on the website before I ever even made the purchase just for them to be "unfunctional" blows my mind. As someone who works in shipping full time, this is just a lazy oversight. I will be leaving a negative review due to the overall lack of communication, all just to end up having to wait a month and some change to end up getting a refund. Got them Jan 3, 2026, and both were broken: one spams ghost inputs, the other has a wobbly left thumbstick that floats and drifts. Tried fixing it: Emailed help@retrovgames.com Jan 4--nothing. Called their joke of a line (423-873-8768) Jan 8, 20, & 26 (loops to voicemail then drops). Two shady callbacks from masked WA number (206-589-3852) fed me "wait longer" BS and "email in spam" excuses, plus a Jan 21 reply demanding I resend "lost" details (while answering the original). I ordered an Xbox back In Nov. 2025 for a Christmas gift for my son. At the time they were running a promo, get two controllers and games included so I got it. After opening the gift for Xmas discovered they sent me the wrong Xbox! After submitting my info. they reached out to me, then lost my claim and told me to send everything again. Second time around I only took pics of the Xbox since that's what was wrong. I was sent the wrong Xbox a second time, with no wires, controllers, or games. I sent back the wrong Xbox and finally got the correct one in March! I didn't get any controllers or games. They are now telling me the order never came with multiple controllers or games and unless I can prove it with pics or order info I can't get a refund or the additional items. Since it's taken so long my email and pics have auto deleted. When they sent out the original order info. they only showed and included the Xbox, with one controller. When I sent back my original order to them it weighed 9lbs 5oz. A single Xbox and controller with cords won't equal that amount that amount shows there were other items in the box. They can't or won't pull up the original order they received from me. When you call the # it's the same person answering every time. You never get a call back from them, only email responses. Little did I know, I was about to be scammed out of $109 and put through the most frustrating customer service experience imaginable. The Scam Unfolds: The website promised 5-7 day shipping, but the package never arrived. Their chat system provided me with a fake tracking number, claiming the package would arrive on January 27th. On the 27th, USPS marked it as "delivered" - yet nothing was received. I contacted their horrendous customer service, and after struggling to understand a heavily-accented representative named "Harry Wilson" (clearly a fake alias), I was given a NEW tracking number that suddenly claimed the package was actually delivered on January 21st. Problem? I have security cameras monitoring all deliveries. There was no package on the 21st. No notifications from USPS. Nothing was delivered. Their Ridiculous "Resolution" Process - AKA More Scams I was instructed to file a USPS claim and provide a service request number #. Done. No response. I followed up, only to be told to now file a police report. I went through the trouble of filing a report at the police station and sent it to them. Their response? "We will reship and provide a new tracking number." Guess what? So far. No tracking number. No package. No refund. NOTHING. They also manipulate reviews! - Don't Trust Their Google Rating! 4.6 is BULLSHIT!! Retro vGames floods Google with fake 5-star reviews to appear trustworthy. A quick look at BBB, TrustPilot, and Yelp tells the REAL story - they have an "F" rating on BBB with dozens of complaints identical to mine. The Bottom Line: They lie about shipping. They provide fake tracking numbers. They will run you in circles until you give up. They steal money from honest people. They crushed my son's excitement for his favorite game. About 1 1/2 months ago I ordered a Nintendo 3DS from RVG and it came in within a few days. Upon playing the game, it started to freeze almost instantly so I called R VG and spoke to Alan, who was very helpful. He said he could process a refund or do an exchange either one. I called the lender and advise them that the unit was defective and for some reason, they opened a dispute. What a mess that was. It wasn't Alan's fault. It had nothing to do with RVG at all. Long story short I finally got the dispute closed and informed Alan who ordered me a replacement that came in within two days. The game system is working beautifully and I'm very pleased with the customer service I received from this business. I purchased the wrong game for our console at Christmas time. At first the return process was smooth, I emailed for return instructions and I received a quick reply with needing pictures of the item, the package I mailed back, and the tracking information. I sent all of that and received a response that they have all they need and once they receive the item I will receive my refund. The item was delivered almost a month ago and I have emailed several times with no response and no refund. Have contacted BBB but still have no response from retrovgames.
