Space is large with plenty of room for future growth. Cloud City has a limited selection of new pull comics, but has a large selection of graphic novels. Several bins of longbox comics are located in the center of the shop at various price points. Has some toys and collectables spread throughout the shop. They have a good selection of board gaming and other gaming items. I'm interested to see how this move works out for Cloud City. Lehigh Valley Mall is a good mall with lots of foot traffic. Biggest issue Cloud City has is they are also now in direct competition with the areas highest end comic shop, ComicMasters, which is located in the Whitehall Mall across the street. I'm not sure Cloud City has the product selection to compete. During previous visits at the old location, my friend has often done well in their comic bins, while I did better when they previously had more one-dollar longboxes.

They have plenty of items here that are "new in box" that although the box is banged up, at least it is not growing of mold or anything that can be harmful to you and the items seem to be in mostly near-perfect condition. There seems to be everything here from new in box, to opened returns, to used items that have somehow ended up here (all clearly indicated). They had pallets of Amazon items, Home Depot items (who wants two tubs and a shower shell that probably dont fit together?), etc. Some items are pricey for what they are, but they still seem to be discounted from paying full price, even if it is only $8-10 cheaper. We managed a gem of a brand new in box carseat for half the price they are normally. We had bought a cheapy car seat to travel with and my son hates it, I was desperate to get something he would be able to sit in for a 2.5 hour drive back to the airport later this week and we were fortunate to get an amazing deal at the Big Catch (yes, I got my big catch!). The carseat I purchased is normally in retail stores for $360 plus tax and we got it for $179. The Britax carseats are an expensive brand and the Advocate is the most expensive line they make (reinforced with stainless steel, etc.), heavy and supposed to be the best for transporting kids. Once they are installed in a car properly, they do not move! I thought there must be something wrong with it, so I came into the store and inspected the box, it was manufactured in July 2021 (they are good for 10 years) and the carseat was still in its original plastic. SOLD! We installed it in the parking lot and my son was a happy camper. I may never have the need to come back to The Big Catch but I do recommend anyone shopping to take a peek at their inventory, they have everything from cribs ($120!) to strollers and carseats, microwaves, gaming headphones, etc. I'm sure their inventory is ever-changing but there will be some hidden jewels here for someone!! As with most bricks and mortar hobby shops I have visited, the selection consists of the most obvious ready to run equipment, without the depth and breath of specialty goods available online. Prices are fair, without the steep discounts seen online, but without gouging. It seems to have a large selection of radio control airplanes, vehicles etc., and a good selection of plastic models. The owners are very knowledgeable however in all fields of the various hobbies.

It's located in a deserted, large shopping complex with the anchor store vacant. The lot is expansive and this store is on the end next to the large vacant property. For that reason I would be leery of going at night alone. Otherwise approaching I could see it was a store with a substantial amount of real estate. Furniture pieces were visible thru the window. I couldn't wait to get inside to explore. Is it the cleanest, most organized store? You can literally see dust balls float across the floor. No...but its full of vintage items as well as pickers. How do I know? You can witness them on the sales floor doing pricing research on their phones while holding tight to an item. I would guess that the majority of the customers were resellers. For that reason, if you see something you like, whether you think it's valuable or just valuable to you grab it. Take a look at that complete set of vintage mushroom canisters I came across. I know they are a highly desirable collectable. I left them for someone else to discover and enjoy. What I would consider highlights for this store is the furniture pieces. Large, small, new and old, like antique old (see pic). The large solid wood wall unit was complete with shelving and lighting and priced at only $299. I'm sure it was a few thousand new. If you dabble in decorative painting and furniture upcycling like I do you'll want to add this store to your thrifting stops. Housewares and decorative items were plenty and arranged better than some departments. I scored some great pieces in this dept that have been on my "thrift wish list "for some time. Toys, crafts, and misc were a huge mess, with piles on the shelves and on the floor without any consideration to order. Prices are very affordable, only a step above yard sale for most items. Linens were stocked well and included a lot of vintage and handmade pieces like crocheted afghans. Clothing was a miss for me. Although I did see they have dressing room the department was so full and clustered together I didn't feel like routing. Shoes I felt were priced high, one price depending on item (see pic) without consideration to brand or condition. DVD's were labeled as half off, but I didn't see a price for comparison. The book department was large and popular. On the day I was there they were constantly adding new items, including furniture pieces, and the pickers were standing ready. This store is part of the Opportunity House, a non profit that offers social services to disadvantaged families, a mission I truly support. The employees were all nice, especially the young man at the register, who provided me with a loyalty card - get it hole punched for each purchase. So while this might not be the best looking or best kept store, it's a great place to hunt for vintage and current items on the cheap.

Parking can be a minor issue, as the parking lot in front of the shop is a dead end, and it it's full you will need to turn around and park in the mall parking lot next to the shop. Shop is reasonably large, but not as big as the old location. Has a fair new pull and wall book selection. Longbox selection is good, with a few cheap boxes spread around the shop. Toys and collectibles are light. Golden Eagle seems to concentrate now on Magic: The Gathering with a somewhat large selection. During my stop, a Magic tournament was ongoing, making the shop a little crowded. There is additional gaming space in the back, separate from the main shop. Employees were helpful during my visit, answering several questions. Overall, I'd call this shop a 3.5, but rounding it up to a 4, and worth a stop.

The selection seems to be ok if not a little on the conventional side. There are tons of tables everywhere in the back which immediately told me this store is much more dedicated to the Magic geeks than the comic geeks, like me. This is a real turn off for me as these types of shops usually support more of the card business in this day. More money in that, I guess. So when I asked the counter monkeys for certain non big two books, they looked at me like I spoke a different language. So that confirmed my card thoughts. Bottom line is, this is a Magic store first that just happens to have a large inventory of comic back issues. They clearly do well with their card tournament because they are still open in a lightly travelled mall. The service seems friendly enough and probably knows a ton about Magic cards. Maybe they lack the comic knowledge. If you want Marvel or DC or Magic cards and live near the mall, this might be a decent option. Otherwise, I might try the store in town. They seem to know comics a little better.

Since I wasn't shopping on the day that I was planning to give the gift, what a novel concept, I can only hope that my wife likes my purchase. The lady working was super nice and said that new items come in quite a bit, which was great to know. We were there looking at all the stuff for a good 45 minutes, I think the prices were really good. Some booths were higher price points, and others were good!
