The owner was friendly and sweet, but it was to cluttery for me and I did not want to pay $70 for a lime green bean bag from the 70s.

My sister had a negative experience with this owner. Rude. I love shopping the retro circuits but I won't be going back.

Karen was exceptional to work with and she even delivered one of the pieces that was too large to fit in my suv.

The empty nest offers a variety of goodies from estates and auctions…read more It offers rare finds and antiques that become stand out pieces inside your home. Be prepared to be wooed when you visit. It is relaxing walking around looking at the items until you find your favorite piece.

I wish I could give a 3.5 rating, since overall it was a good experience…read more So here's the deal. - lack of large signage on the exterior, makes it easy to miss being it blends in with the other businesses along the strip. -upon entering you may be given a strip of SOLD stickers. If not, you can find them by the registers. They're for tagging larger items you want to buy. You put the sticker on, and take it's product/price tag to the cashier for check-out. -the store is packed with items and people, which makes moving around not so easy. I don't think it's ideal for walkers, wheelchairs, or strollers. If you have mobility challenges, navigating may be tough. -some items don't have a price tag, like the pillow I bought. I asked the cashier how the price is determined, and was advised they assign what they think is a fair price at check-out. My pillow was valued at $4. -i got there at 10:07am, 7 mins after they opened and there were people everywhere. That said, if you're a serious shopper arrive early to see the goods before the super-early birds snatch it all up. -again, it's filled with stuff; mainly furniture, home decor, dinnerware, kitchen goods, some shoes, books, and I even saw cute scarves and bags. It didn't seem like a destination for clothes. Now that I'v summed that up, I do believe it's a nice option for thrifting and would definitely recommend it.

I was impressed with the selection this Turn Style had to offer. There were many higher end brands…read moreand all the items seemed to be good quality. The store is fairly large with half being dedicated to clothing and the other half home decor and furniture. The store also doesn't have that weird smell that some thrift stores have. While everything is second hand and they do pay for the items I did feel some of the items were a little expensive for that is it. While shopping there were a handful of employees in the store. They seemed more focused on getting ready to close for the day rather than check in with customers (and I'm totally fine with that). Went home with a new decorative plate, but didn't find any clothes to take home. I'll be adding this location in to my thrifting list.

I have shopped Turn Style Consignment in Richfield off and on for years and have bought many things…read morefrom them, including 2 pieces of furniture. So now I want to purchase a cabinet hutch and am told they cannot lift it into my vehicle? They have lifted the 2 items into my vehicle in the past, but now they cant? I'm not sure what they are worried about but its not going to help them at all. if you sell large items and most of your clients are female you should really help lift it in the van as a customer service to them. I have seen them rolling, sliding and lifting furniture all over the store to sell but they cannot do this for whom they have sold the piece to? Every store I have shopped including some antique stores carry out and place into my vehicle as a customer service. If this is an insurance issue, I will guarantee you that it is not much per year to add but it will help you immensely. If I remain a customer it is totally up to you as I will rate your store at 4.2. Jenny
