Problematic test results need to be delivered. If you need something time sensitive, such as a pre authorization for testing, etc, that won't happen in a timely manner. An appeal to insurance for medication, etc. The doctor's assistant will clearly tell you she's the only one doing pre authorizations, as a reason to take multiple weeks to even fill out the forms. If the doctor could get a whole new support staff it would be entirely different.

He did not try to look at me for 10 minutes and rush me out the door like all my doctors have done. I haven't had any medical insurance for a long time and at 50 years old and somehealth issues I'm way overdue for a checkup. He saw me late (a 6 p.m. appointment). I was his last patient of the day and he did not rush anything.
