The selection was pretty limited on everything but especially the stickers / planning/ stencil area , and the pricing felt more in line with boutique resale than a thrift shop. For example, a small Happy Planner sticker book was priced at $7.99 something I've gotten at Savers for $5 or less and we all know how astronomical savers pricing is lol . The other sticker and journaling items were $5-$12, which felt a bit steep for secondhand supplies. I totally understand small businesses need to cover costs and make a profit, and I really respect that but I was hoping for more variety and more "thrift-style" pricing. I'd still love to come back and check out other sections of the store, and hopefully they'll consider revisiting some of the pricing in the future to make it a more budget-friendly stop for crafters like me.

They had a beautiful supply of individual and boxed holiday card sets from a variety of small letterpresses. After some searching, I found some lovely options from local letterpress, Ladybug Press. With my boxes in hand, I began to venture toward the cash register. But, wait! Are those local tees from Banana Ink? Yes. Yes, they are. They have a nice selection of locally printed tees. Banana Ink works with local artists and designers to create a line of Idaho inspired tees, hoodies, hats, and other wearables. And, while, you could make the trip to downtown Boise to their shop to pick something up--it's nice to know that their stuff can be found in Meridian as well! I was able to find an awesome tee for a Christmas gift. I also noticed that they carry a range of beard products from local barber shop, The Beardsmith. A little unlikely, perhaps, but pretty awesome to see this local business so supportive of other local businesses (really amazing ones to boot!). They also do a variety of fun and crafty workshops on occasion (ie: In February, they're offering a Modern Calligraphy workshop). Such a gem of a stationary shop! Located on 6th street, this shop is your one stop shop for all things Idaho, handmade and incredibly special. You can find blown glass, textiles, soaps, lotions, chocolate, peanuts, ornaments, shave oils, cutting boards, games, mugs, vases, ornaments and so much more. Most of my favorite makers were there (think Ladybug Press, Sawtooth Glass Project, City Peanut Shop, All Spun Up, Sage Woolens, etc.) It felt like a holiday craft bazaar that is open year round and housing the very best products. I found the selection to be varied and affordable. You could find things for men, women, children, pets and even yourself! It bears repeating that you are paying for handcrafted, small-business wares. It is not going to have the same price tag as a manufactured good from a big box store. It will be a higher price tag. There is tons of aisles full of interesting toy ideas for kids. I like that the toys are created by teachers. They had a couple sale items which were a good deal and they offer coupons too which they are happy to help you sign up for at the counter. It ended up saving me $30 :) The store itself is located in a run down strip mall but inside it was clean and the staff was very friendly. They have tons of teacher supplies here as well as some nice books on a back wall. Overall it was a good place to go for Christmas shopping and I'll keep it in mind for kids upcoming birthday presents.

No one really talked to me when I walked in, I ended up wandering around while the people there talked to each other (not sure how many were employees besides the one who ended up ringing me up). No one offered to help me find anything, or asked if I was looking for anything for a specific project (which I was), it just wasn't really a warm environment for me. There aren't a lot of yarn store options in Boise so at some point I'll probably go back, but it sucks it doesn't seem like a place I'd go to for community building.
