She told me to come by, so I did. I didn't have a photo of the pills, but I asked if she could give me the same ones I had received in the past. She said she couldn't order them unless I sent her $50 upfront. I zelled her the $50 and left, expecting that the pills would be ordered as promised. Later, she told me they had arrived--but suddenly the price had increased to $60. That's when I started feeling very uncomfortable. These pills never cost that much before, and I felt misled. I asked her to please just refund my $50 since there was so much confusion, but instead of zelling it back, she asked me to send her my address so she could mail it. That didn't sit right with me--why should I give out my personal address when the payment was digital? Overall, this whole situation felt unprofessional, frustrating, and unclear. I just wanted transparency and respect as a returning customer, but I didn't get that. Be cautious when dealing with this business--especially when it comes to money and communication.

The lady (the owner) had an attitude since she walked in the door and saw me. She started rambling on about how she doesn't even check, nor take insurance on Sundays. I called another place and they checked it just fine btw. Overall, her entire attitude didn't seem to want new clients and/or new business so dont bother. Find somewhere else. Im sure many other places will be nice and want new clients and business. I'm also korean, and her demeanor and tone towards me was: "I've never even seen this card before" and proceeded to treat me like some pos liar/scammer. I've gotten acupuncture semi-regularly for a few years, but never have I ever had acupuncture that hurt this bad or seen a practitioner that left me this traumatized. I literally teared up at multiple points. I sprained my ankle the day prior and wanted to get it checked out. As soon as I sat down, the doctor (I believe her name was Sally Lee) started massaging it and twisting my ankle incredibly aggressively to the point where it hurt so bad I had to tell her to stop multiple times. She then started treatment, and I'm not sure why but a few of the needles hurt really bad. Usually acupuncture barely feels like a pinch upon insertion but these needles continuously hurt and were aching the surrounding areas. She put a few in my stomach which probably hurt the worst and when I told her about the pain, she proceeded to press down on the needles...and I could not stop flinching from the pain. I eventually told her to take them out because I was tearing pretty bad at that point. And she eventually did so very reluctantly lol. All to say, I definitely will not be returning here. The doctor was very dismissive the entire time and I honestly felt like she wanted me to feel pain for some sick reason. I was pretty disturbed when I left, and my ankle is also still in pain so this definitely wasn't worth the visit or cost by any means.

My husband and I scheduled appointments with Dr. Park as we both needed to find some peace from our anxiety and support as we began our IVF journey. Our infant son had passed away six months prior, and we wanted to do everything we could to support our fertility as we took this next step. We had to pursue IVF due to complications from my previous pregnancy. I also have a history of eating disorders that I have recovered from, but still need medical professionals to approach the issue sensitively to support my recovery and avoid triggering a relapse. These issues were all noted in my initial paperwork with Dr. Park, and given the reviews here, I expected to be treated with care. Instead, some of her first words to me were a gruff "You need to lose weight to have a baby." I am currently under the care of several OBGYNs and fertility specialists. There is no issue with my weight where pregnancy is concerned. I had literally just been pregnant six months before with no difficulty conceiving, but my son had died, leaving me with complications and an emotional hole in my heart. Instead of consulting my paperwork or taking the time to sensitively understand my needs, Dr. Park made callous assumptions about my body based on the way he thought it looked. I tried to explain that I was not here to address weight issues, but he argued with me, and then made similar statements about my husband's weight. Again, these are not issues we were here to treat, nor are they issues our doctors have asked us to treat. I felt my interactions with Dr. Park in this moment were very rude, insensitive, and ignored the actual concerns I was here to address. And I was being retraumatized over the loss of my son, AND having my eating disorder triggered. None of this helped my anxiety. After some more arguing, Dr. Park finally agreed to drop it if he didn't have to focus on fertility issues during the session, and I agreed. But, I felt horrible and anxious and my blood pressure was through the roof from the interaction (which is not normal for me). When I laid down on his table to begin the session, Dr. Park's cell phone rang out loud, and he literally left my session to go schedule an appointment for someone else. At this point, it was clear I would not be receiving any sort of treatment that made me feel cared for, heard, or like my needs were being addressed, and so we left. Dr. Park was clearly annoyed at us, but I figured he could deal with some annoyance now that I needed to go deal with the emotional fallout from his horrible comments. I would advise anyone seeking sensitivity as they pursue fertility support to go elsewhere. This was a terrible experience, and no patient should be treated the way we were.

I've had a very mixed experience there - I won't go back, and neither should you. The first round of treatment, in 2004, went without incident; pretty much your typical chiro experience, with a casual manner. But the second time I used him, I was sorry I'd recommended him to my fiance'. We'd been in a hit and run car accident, and my fiance's back and shoulder were wrenched. Our treatment went for about 12 weeks or so, which was fine. But then Dr. Ward never filed the paperwork with our lawyer or insurance company! He just disappeared, refusing to answer his phone or email, just POOF - missing! Our therapy was finished in about January of 2011, but we didn't realize Dr. Ward hadn't filed anything until April - then we went to his office in person to confront him. He kept lying to us, saying he'd sent it, or was sending it. Then he got angry, and gave us a bunch of stories about personal problems, and losing our paperwork. (????) About 2 MONTHS later, he said he found the paperwork, and was filing it. That was July, Now it's September, and we're up against the statute of limitations, and he STILL hasn't sent the paperwork!! NINE MONTHS of procrastination, lies, and who knows what else. He just skated on the whole thing - I have no idea even why. He still sees other patients - I know because I've shown up in his office to ask about our paperwork, and he was seeing new patients. Unless you want a big headache to go with the backache you're trying to fix - go somewhere else!
