In the beginning it seemed as though everything was going to be great. During installation they accidentally struck a line that wasn't buried deep enough (not their fault) so they couldn't install a gate to finish the job. Was told once AT&T repaired the line they would come out and finish the job. The day after I noticed part of the fence popped out from the post and was not connected. This was one day after. Not a good start. Then shortly after our gate had the bolts come out of the hinge and the gate was barely operational. Soon after we found two more areas that came apart. I contacted Revamp and was told someone would come out to finish the job and repair the areas that weren't complete. This was on 4/13. No one was come out and have been repeatedly told someone would come but no one has. Terrible workmanship (falling apart after one day lol) and even worse customer service. Its so bad my neighbors are asking me who did the job just so they know who not to use! Finally they did finish but with the storms recently a section came apart. I called for a repair and of course its not covered. I was told someone would call me to set up the repair but of course no one has. There is no way I would recommend Revamp. read more

I had my first experience with Revamp when Adrian, our salesperson, visited to introduce the company and its products. From the moment I met him at the door to the time he left, I couldn't help but smile. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine demeanor left a lasting impression. Revamp is lucky to have him--he was a major factor in our decision to move forward with the fence replacement. I'm excited to see the project progress and hope the company and its products live up to the great first impression Adrian made. UPDATE - I have an issue regarding my wide gate, which has sunk on one side and is now very difficult to open. I first notified the local Revamp office about this on May 6th, Joanna, and despite my consistent follow-ups via text, calls, and emails, the issue remains unresolved. Each time, I am told that someone will come out as soon as possible, but I have yet to see any action. I even received an email back from Jordan stating they would loop in the local office, who i already contacted. No results. While the initial sales and installation process was great, the post-sale support has been deeply disappointing. It is unacceptable to blame customers for unresponsiveness when, in reality, your company is extremely difficult to reach and slow to provide service once a sale is complete. Please email me to let me know when a technician will be scheduled to come out and fix this issue before the gate breaks further. read more

After my initial terrible review of Revamp, there was a reply from Revamp saying someone would contact me and get the repair done. That was 8/17 and while someone did get a hold of me, the repair isn't done nor do I know when it will be completed. It has been lie after lie and I will post all of the conversations so people can see how terrible their service is. Was told someone would be there Thursday but the tech did not load the right materials. Said he "wanted to come the next day" only to be told he won't be coming and no idea when he would. This is typical of their service. They were quick to want their money yet when something is needed beyond that they make excuses or don't even respond to your messages. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and hope others can see how terrible their service is. I have asked to speak to managers to elevate this but no one contacts me or gives me any information. I truly wonder how a business can operate being this bad. read more

From the Sales people who came out , Chris who helped with our plan, Dana who kept us updated on the schedule and Brian and Jorge who completed the build with exceptional attention to detail...all were friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. We got our fence installed exactly a year ago. Everything with the fence is fine besides the actual gate. During install they told me that the soil is too soft by the gate post and they'll need to pour concrete for just this one spot, which made sense. Within the first few months the gate started sagging and wouldn't fully close/lock. I checked the post, and to my surprise, they forgot to add the concrete!! So it makes perfect sense why this would sag. They sold me on this warranty and customer service, which was a huge selling point for me. I understand things can go wrong during install, hence the peace of mind via the warranty was a sticky point. I wouldn't typically buy a fence with the same cost as a brand new car, but again the peace of mind seemed worth it. Well, it turns out the customer service is non-existent... If you call the number on their website, you'll never get a hold of someone, or at least I never did after a couple dozen calls. I happened to have the number of one of the reps saved thankfully. I texted her and explained the situation. She said she would get on it right away and open up a service ticket...but that was 3 months ago. I texted again last month, and she said she would try to have someone come out right away. I wouldn't be writing this review if they had someone come out and fix the issue, but here we are. So, I'm starting to feel more scammed from this 15 year warranty they boasted about, as there is no way to actually reach them and get them to fix their mistake they made during the initial install. Their fences are fine as long as you never need any sort of customer service. Which is a pity because I had plans to get a new deck built from them too for this summer, but I'll be going elsewhere. Because at this stage I have to hire another contractor to fix their install issue. read more

Worst experience ever. Took 9 weeks to install a fence. Oversold their products with no way of fulfilling their commitment to customers. Canceled me 5 times. Had utilities come out 4 times and had to stay home to unlock gate which has a pool. That's 4 different utilities to wait for in a single week. That's 4 extra weeks waiting and can't leave. Had to cancel my vacation and landscapers which I lost my deposits. The crazy office would not answer my emails, phone calls and texts. I was told they had no working phones. These people have no idea of what is going on. Again zero communication. Do yourself a favor and skip them. Worse $18,000 l ever spent. read more

The fence looks very beautiful and the installation was done in 2 days. They obtained all the necessary permits. Mattwas the lead installer and took time to walk through the installation process as well as ensured that the yard was fully cleaned up after they had completed the installation. Hired Revamp to perform a large project at my home. Deck and fence. When they removed the old deck the installers also removed the flashing between the deck and both my house and my garage. I asked him if they would be replacing the flashing and he assured me that it was not necessary and told me that they have done thousands this way. After a short time I noticed water in my home and in my garage which had been converted to a music studio. I called my insurance company who sent an inspector out and was told that not only was this not going to be covered but my insurance is going to be canceled until this "shoddy" installation was rectified. I called two other contractors out to assess and quote repairs to both my structures and the cause , the lack of mulch needed flashing that I was told by Revamp I did not need. Revamp was the highest estimate I received when I was receiving quotes for the deck and fence project at over $38 grand but my wife and I decided to go with them because they promised me a professional job with a great warranty. I have placed several calls to Revamp concerning this problem and was told it would be escalated to someone "higher up " yet I have received no call back. This project to increase our home value has caused so much damage that I will now be out of pocket tens of thousands to make this right. Thanks Revamp for damaging my property,avoiding my phone calls, and hoping this just goes away. It will not. I have now escalated this to my attorney. Our journey started with the first appointment to get a quote. It was a Friday afternoon, the salesman called at the time of the appointment to say his car broke down, and couldn't make it. Okay, we rescheduled a few weeks later. My husband took work off early, and again no appointment. He was a no call/no show. The third time he did show up, and we signed to have the fence installed. We got an install date, again, my husband wanted to be home, so he took the day off of work. The entire install team was a no call/no show. So, they said they would be there the next day for install. Same thing!!! Stayed home from work, and no call/no show. After many calls to Revamp we finally got a reason, they said they don't have the permit from the village we live in. Okay, makes sense. Now we reschedule again for a Wednesday, they do show up! Hooray! A crew of 8 guys tore the old fence down in about an hour. Then, they got stopped. Although the village gave them a permit, the village put a stop to install because they have never seen this kind of pole installation. Okay, I'm still fine with this, it does make sense. The installers said they would be back tomorrow, (Wednesday), or Friday at the latest. They leave, withe my new fence. There are metal poles scattered all throughout my yard, killing my grass. I found 2 large blades from one of the cutting tools. (I have dogs and kids) And, this is great, we saw one of the installers urinating in the middle of my back yard!! Also, an installer stepped on my neighbors Hydrangeas, smashing them! The men actually laughed at this, while it was happening! Now, fast forward to calling the office to try to get an install date. Shawna, oh Shawna, does not know how to communicate very well. I cannot even tell you how many times she did not return our phone calls. July 3 is the date they tore our old fence down. Miss Shawna finally calls back, and tells us July 12 is the soonest they can come. She says all her install teams are booked up. We did argue that we need this fence done asap. We wanted an install team pulled from another job and she refused. I asked for her manager, Nathan, and was told he would call me back. He did, he wouldn't budge. He did say he could pull a team from Freeport for install date of July 10. We have no choice but to wait. My yard, my fence touches 6 yards. So now all these families have animals, kids, and some pools, are going without a fence for a full week. For what should have been a one day job. The communication was absolutely horrible! That is why I would never recommend this company. The fence is beautiful, but all the havoc they put us through for a very expensive fence, NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Would Not Recommend After a pleasant meeting with the salesman from ReVamp Fence and Deck (Aurora, Illinois) we decided to hire them to replace our 420 sqft deck based on what was described as a worry free experience. The actual experience was very frustrating and filled with broken promises, misunderstandings, and poor communication. They initially assured us they would handle all permitting, but failed to obtain the building permit until we insisted--resulting in a two-week delay. When they finally did secure the permit, the problems only escalated. The contractor did not follow the approved architectural drawings, which led to failed inspections and even more delays. When we brought up these issues, they became argumentative instead of taking responsibility, often trying to cut corners rather than doing things the right way the first time. It also became painfully clear that they were unfamiliar with local building codes. The first set of plans they submitted were rejected outright by the building commissioner due to basic code violations--something a professional should absolutely be aware of. In short, this contractor was unprepared, unprofessional, and caused unnecessary stress and delays at every step. If you're looking for someone who understands permits, codes, and how to follow a plan, look elsewhere. read more
