The process of getting an estimate over the phone was new to us (as we typically have to schedule appointments with contractors) but the quote actually came in very close to the in-person estimates we had done with other Naperville painting contractors. The price was very competitive and Andre was very professional and knowledgable over the phone so we booked our painting job the next day. Shortly after booking, Andre arranged for a color design expert from Sherwin Williams (complimentary with the paint job) to help us pick out interior wall colors and we were set to start our painting project the very next week. Improovy's professional paint crews were on-time, friendly, and very responsive to our needs. We are truly happy with their work, their attitude, and the overall professionalism of the painters. Not to mention, they were impressively neat and efficient, finished early, and even took time to label the extra paint left over from the project in case we needed it for the future. It was really great dealing with such nice people and our home looks brand new! I can tell you that Their painting job is not professional. There's multiple areas where they missed painting or didn't paint at all. The drywall work needed additional sanding and refinishing. The tile floor had to be torn out and redone due to tiles popping out. The drop ceiling in the basement needed redone because it wasn't level and had no supports in it. The work was beyond terrible. Now onto the employees. Mike and Laura are the "owners" who I dealt with. Mike and his guys never showed up when they said they would and left whenever they wanted because they said Mike didn't pay them enough. The employees stole my alcohol, all of it. They stole food and last but not least they stole my tools. I would also catch the workers using my tools to do the job and ask why and they would tell me because they didn't have it. I had to help finish jobs for these guys because they couldn't "get it." They agreed to paint my banister and then tried to get another $500 out of me but I refused and they agreed to paint it for the original amount. They continued to try and change prices on scope of work mid job. I finally had the last of it and fired them when I found an employee had been urinating in a one gallon jug in my basement instead of using the restroom that was up the stairs. Mike made excuses that one of his guys had a drinking problem and he did pay me back for the stolen alcohol but not my tools. Some times no one would even show up to work on a certain day and I would call and mike nor Laura would know what's going on. Don't make the same mistake I did.

We had our entire first floor painted, doors and trim painted, and all they cleaned out 10 years worth of my bad patching and holes. All looks amazing! They finished a full day earlier then expected and the quality exceeded our expectations. Ken and Curt were clean, fast, and great to work with. Their prices were very reasonable. Definitely no need for other quotes on our next painting project.
