Their coffee selection is unique and a lot more interesting than the typical coffee shop options around town. You can tell they actually care about quality. Living across the state line, I still end up here consistently. Each time I forget to take a photo of my drink/food before consuming them, but I'll chalk that up to me enjoying myself each time that I forget. Quality coffee with lots of rotating menu items for lattes and non-coffee concoctions. They sell local coffee as well if you want to bring some of the tastiness home. The inside is bright and with ample seating, I've never had a hard time finding a place to sit. Baristas are friendly and happy to answer questions if you have them. Had a great first experience here today! I've heard great things about this shop and roaster, all things lived up to the hype. The build out is beautiful and I can tell the staff appear to have chosen to work with this shop intentionally. Elliott brewed me a delicious pour over showcasing a roaster from Spain. The customers vary from young students, to people in their 50's or 60's so it truly seems like an inviting space for all. I was sent a mailer receiving one free drink for living in South Hill and I must say I'll definitely be back to meet up with a friend or grab another cup to go. 10/10 would recommend as a spot to visit if you haven't already! read more

Visiting from Seattle, I feel like I hit the jackpot! They served my favorite coffee roasters, Olympia coffee roasters! They had Chemex pour over options as well as a type of pour over I've never had before, which was seriously phenomenal! They make their own syrups, also! They had rose cardamom, orange and many others! I feel like I got lucky because today was a holiday and tons of coffee shops that I wanted to go to were closed! On top of the phenomenal coffee, cute peaceful environment, easy parking, The barista's had a wonderful knowledge of coffee, and the girl who served me (I really wish I got her name but she had straight across bangs and fun red lipstick and brown hair?) was super kind and friendly. This is my actual favorite coffee spot in the entire world. It's my biggest regret about moving away from Spokane. (Ok, maybe missing my friends is first, but it's a very close second!) I love the drinks they make, they have fun flavors and the syrups are all housemade! The Irange Cardamon and Lavender are the best ever, and you can buy them to take home, which of course I did. During the summer months, go for a Cold Brew Lemonade. It sounded weird when they first told me about it, convinced me to try it, and I am forever sold on it. One of my favorite summer drinks of all time, I wish I could have it in the winter! They have some fun food options: a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin is new, bagels of multiple flavors, sweet treats, avocado toast (add the egg!), and sometimes a cinnamon roll that is to die for. The staff are always friendly and fun to talk to. They want to make you what you're looking for, make you feel welcome and appreciated. The ambiance of the shop is open and airy but still cozy, with huge south-facing windows allowing in the beautiful sunshine. This a really cute coffee place on 57th, just a bit past Regal, with lots of places to sit and tons of outlets. Their coffee is amazing. On our first visit, I went for an Americano and on the side had a small amount of coconut milk. The Americano is smooth and very, very drinkable. I didn't even need the coconut milk but decided to add some about halfway down my cup just to get the taste. Yes, I could definitely come here and just have an Americano without anything added in. They have some season specials, I believe right now called "Winter Specials," descriptions on the counter. The Moroccan Fog sounded really intriguing, so on another visit, I gave that a try. You can also do some shopping here for cups, t-shirts and of course, beans. read more

I love the proximity of this coffee shop to the gym that I go to. I can work out and grab a coffee right after on the way to work! And the shop is amazing! It looks so nice inside and definitely a place to sit down and chill or get some hardcore studying done. The menu for the shop is not complicated and includes some unique drink options. They also have some great syrups to try in your next latte. I highly recommend the Orange Cardamom syrup, elevates the latte just a tad to feel fancy. I even came in 2 min before closing (yeah I was that guy) because I didn't look at their times, but the barista did not even get phased by it and made my drink so fast. This place is now a new addition to my coffee runs in the mornings if I'm in the area. And I'll definitely be studying here when I need to do some continuing education lol. read more

Revel is a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop. The spot is high on the south hill on 57th in a small strip mall. There is always parking outside and they have pretty abundant indoor seating despite the number of people who regularly study and work there. It's less noisy than average for a coffee shop which I find a bonus for sitting and reading. There are 2-tops on both sides of the cafe and high tables in the middle. I love the layout with high ceilings, wood paneling and comfy pillows for leaning or sitting on. In the past I've seen the owners working the coffee bar. They and the staff are friendly and laid back. The menu offers a large variety of beverages and they have pastry goodies including savory hand pies and individual quiches. And my favorite thing about Revel is the coffee. The espresso drinks are delicious. They make my go-to beverage, a soy latte, to perfection. read more

I visited Revel 77 because they looked promising from what I saw online, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Rose Gold Latte. Rose is a difficult flavor to deal with, and Revel 77 did it astoundingly well. The drink was balanced and the espresso was done well. I love how the barista measures syrups on a food scale to be precise about the syrup in my vanilla soy milk latte. Iced peppermint tea was refreshing on a scorching hot day. If you're looking for that coffee cafe feel, Revel 77 is your place. The Barista brings your drink/food to you. So order, have a seat, and either sit back and enjoy (not standing and waiting for your order) or get your computer out and start working away bc your coffee will be brought to your table. I personally ordered the Fez Green Tea, iced, for consumption in the cafe. The drink arrived in a heavy transparent glass, tea bag well visualized, and a metal straw. A metal straw, so no extra waste here. The drink held minty tones along w/the standard green tea flavors. Would recommend for other Green Tea lovers. My husband ordered an americano, hot, also for consumption in the cafe. The drink arrived in a heavy ceramic mug w/the Revel 77 logo imaged on just one side of the cup. The side that can be seen from those sipping coffee w/their right hand. He orders one almost daily, so he'd definitely recommend for those other americano lovers. Free WiFi, lots of plug-in access, pillows for your hiney's comfort (if needed), soft music (not overbearing by any means), and either outdoor greenery to view or the inside of the quaint cafe. I just visited Revel 77 on 57th for the first time since entering the new stage and it was so nice to see people sitting around at tables chatting. They consistently have the most delicious and carefully brewed coffee. I asked the barista to make me her favorite latte w their house made syrups and it tastes like a latte made for adults who love the actual taste of coffee. Complex and rich. Highly recommend. Forego Starbucks next time for a level jump. :) Oh! And their instant coffee is some of the best coffee of any brewing method I've had. read more

It's a nice place to study with lots of outlets and spacious area. But their coffee was extremely disappointing. First of all, what kind of coffee shop gives hot mocha in a tall water glass..? The art on the top was so crappy I couldn't even tell what the barista was trying to make.. lol And the coffee was really sweet with no much flavor. What a great coffee shop! The shots were perfect & the drink was wonderful. Our latte was steamed just perfect and the barista proved it when he poured in the shots. I was bummed I didn't notice before we ordered that they make their own syrups in house. We don't often get syrups in our coffee, but we love house-made flavors. The pesto parmesan-stuffed bagel was a very pleasant surprise, toasted to perfection and as good as it sounds. The other baked items looked good. Covid-19 has hit many coffee shops. Revel 77 is the perfect cafe for those looking to make camp and get work done. It offers plenty of seating with outlets and ample natural light, which I am a huge fan of. The staff is friendly and the ambience is overall is very relaxing. As a bonus, there's no need to worry about street parking since they are located in a plaza with its own private lot! The specialty coffee drinks are delicious, although my favorite part about Revel is actually their food selection. They have a decent amount of pastries and savory items which sets them apart from other cafes that usually only offer sweet pastries. If you haven't tried their breakfast hand pies, I highly recommend! It doesn't look like much as you are driving down 57th, and you have to look for it. They do have a "COFFEE" sign on the road, but still. When you walk in, it smells fresh and comforting. Inside is clean, open, and has lots of sunlight. They have free WiFi and are open from 6am-5pm. When I asked the barista what was good, he recommended an iced lavender oat milk latte and it did not disappoint! He mentioned that he wasn't a big fan of oat milk or lavender (and neither am I), but I have to agree with him that there's just something about the drink that feels like a cozy morning with friends. I was recommended the breakfast handpie and quiche... I chose the broccoli cheddar quiche and haven't looked back. There's soft music playing in the background and a comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Even though you have to be looking for it to find it, it still surprises everyone with the drinks, food, and vibes. They also have options for mobile order pickups and I have seen many people doing that. From the barista to the music to the good conversations to Tate (lol) this cozy coffee stop shouldn't be missed!! read more

We're really lucky to have Revel 77 on the South Hill. They serve incredible coffee, sourced from top notch coffee roasters in the greater northwest region. With plenty of seating and signature lattes, it's a great spot for get in your daily caffeine. Their black walnut latte is one of my favorites, but I usually like to grab an espresso or macchiato. I love Revel! It's so cute, staff is friendly, coffee is generally good, and it's just a great atmosphere. I take off a couple stars for hours and frequent consistency issues, which surprises me as they use scales quite often. But depending on the barista, the drink will be different -- sweeter or less sweet, more or less ice, different tea to lemonade ratios, etc. People want consistency in their drinks (this is why Starbucks is still so popular), I don't want my drink to vary by barista. Please communicate drink recipes amongst the team and keep them consistent. :) Also they close hella early (4pm) which makes it hard for those who work normal hours to visit during the week. With the amount of students in the area I don't see how they wouldn't get business, especially in the summer, after 4pm. read more

Over 40 seats, and gobs of outlets, so you won't regret coming here to study or work. Location: Upper south hill off of 57th...So about 15 minutes from downtown. Worth the drive from anywhere in town to check out, as it is a unique place in the city. Food & Drink: Smattering of savory breakfast items available such as hand pies, quiche, etc. Pour over coffee and espresso is the main point here however.
