Came in on a Sunday morning on my way out of Spokane. The vibe was delightful, the baristas were friendly, and the cortado was great. I'm an espresso fiend on a break from coffee so I took a chance and ordered an iced tea that combined lemonade, green tea, and passion fruit puree. It was absolutely delicious. Great spot.

Our first stop in Spokane was at Meeting House which is super close to our lodging arrangements, so it made it the perfect stop while we waited for our space to be ready. The vibes in this shop were super cute and balanced between stopping in for a quick bite by yourself or going in with a group to accomplish a task. As a queer woman, I appreciated how welcomed we felt as soon as we walked in and all of the baristas were all so kind and in amazing moods. The free wifi, outside seating options, and spacious environment with multiple outlets made this a perfect spot to stop in for locals or anyone traveling in. We had just eaten at the airport, so we weren't super hungry, but that didn't stop us from grabbing a sandwich, pastry and an Italian Soda. Breakfast Croissant 10/10 Am I addicted to Cottage Bacon? Yes. The croissant on this was done in such a way that has left a lasting taste in my mouth. The butter and cheddar laid the perfect bed for the other flavors and made it such a treat to have. My wife and I were competing for bites! Raspberry Danish 7/10 I wasn't the biggest fan of the Raspberry in this danish, but I think it's because I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet and usually I prefer a cream cheese danish. I will say that the flavor was fresh and that the danish was buttery and baked to a perfect brown crust. Italian Soda - Peach 10/10 I could have had five more of these. I love that even though the cream component was implemented, it was still refreshing and the peach gave it a light crisp. The flavor complimented the breakfast croissant well. I am hoping that we can stop in on our way out to grab breakfast before we go, because another croissant is calling my name.

Goodness, this is the hardest 3 star I've given. If I was going based off of coffee alone, I'd unfortunately have to give them a 1 star. But their pastries and customer service are 5 stars! I ordered the sweater weather latte and wanted to love it but the shots tasted so burnt and so I just ordered a different coffee since I didn't want to try a remade version because the flavor was so stuck in my mouth and got the Pumpkin patch latte. This one was also unfortunately a miss for me. This coffee also taste burnt so I'm assuming it must be the roast they use. I think I may give their coffee another shot in the future but for now, I'll stick to their food. I had a raspberry danish and it was to die for. It was so buttery and lemony and the raspberry was beautiful tart. I will definitely get that again. The shops lay out is definitely set up for working. There are benches with outlets below (my only issue with this is sharing the benches as they're a bit wobbly so when someone moves, you also move). If benches aren't your vibe there are multiple small tables sprinkled about the shop, 2 medium tables perfect for meetings, a very large 10 seater table and counter seats. Theres a lot seating is what I'm getting at! Their customer service is top notch also which is why I feel bad giving them a 3. The two baristas were so kind as to remake my drinks and so friendly when I was ordering. I might try them again in the future

Service was poor. Prices are questionable on coffee.. 3 dollars for an 8 oz cup of drip coffee that's not filled up and you have to pay for a refill? The have a couple of couches which is nice though

I can not say enough about Meeting House. Wonderful ambiance, cozy, laid back, and perfect for studying or getting work done. Coffee was really high quality, pastries were fresh, thoughtful, and different from what you would get elsewhere. Baristas were friendly and able to recommend good drinks, definitely coming back next time I am in town.

Decent food. Good coffee drinks with a good variety. Very friendly staff. Very open, bright space with Wi-Fi. Definitely a place to meet up with others, as per the name. A couple of rooms can be reserved. Was quiet, but seems like it could tend toward loud.

Umm Yum! I stopped here on a Saturday morning on my way to take my dog for a walk at Upper Lincoln Park (1/2 mile away). I had my usual 8oz flat white first - two sugars. It was delicious. Took my dog for a walk - came back for a second and to grab a breakfast sandwich for my son. I ordered another flat white but forgot to ask for sugar. I took a sip and guess what? For the first time in my adult life I did not have to add any sugar to my coffee! The chocolate notes and milder roast are so good - no bitterness, no acidic after taste....this roast is so good for the first time in 10 years I'm going to switch up my usual beans at home for the Meeting House beans! Also - the croissant sandwich with Brie, honey and prosciutto is sooo yummy! My son loved his traditional English muffin and egg sandwich. This is a delightful neighborhood spot with plenty of seating, great vibes, awesome wrt ice and even better coffee & food. Highly recommend!!

What an awesome neighborhood stop. British feel with it being right in a residential area. Outstanding coffee and toast dishes. Lots of room to work, big groups or intimate seating.

Love Meeting House Café as a neighborhood meet-up spot! Espresso drinks are wonderful, the baristas are friendly, the space is bright and inviting, and there is plenty of seating, including in the front adirondacks and the outdoor courtyard in the summer. Wifi is free and they encourage you to hang out. All drinks and food items are made to order. Their breakfast sandwich is super tasty. On my last visit, I saw (and smelled) them cooking the incredible berry compote for the yogurt parfait, and then had to take a parfait to go--wow on flavor. Will need to come by for one of their lunch items sometime.

The quality of ingredients tasted really fresh and thoughtful, and they have a surprisingly wide variety of nutritious options. I don't have a chance to try it, but their selection of savory entree plates were very impressive (see my photos pleaseeee), and they also serve delicious soup as well. But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. This place is inside Saranac Commons, very pretty and is a good place to slow down for lunch or coffee. Staff were kind, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. Definitely a place I'd come back to whenever I'm in Spokane.

The dining room was almost empty when I walked in, and no one greeted me. They were playing some Kanye west music behind the counter so I thought there'd be some livelihood but... there wasn't. One of the younger employees who took my order was fine but you could tell he didn't want to be there and the person at the register seemed like they didn't really want to be there either. They weren't outright rude, but the interaction definitely wasn't welcoming and both of them mumbled and spoke so low, I had to ask them both multiple times what they were saying. I ordered two donuts and a cup of coffee, which came to $7.35. For what was a Keurig coffee with basic shelf-stable creamer, it felt overpriced. On the positive side, the donuts were good. You can tell they're handmade, and they had a nice taste. They were definitely the highlight of the visit. Maybe my expectations were too high because of all the recommendations I'd heard, but I expected a Saturday morning at such a well-known donut shop to have more energy and atmosphere. Instead, it felt surprisingly underwhelming and lacked the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. Overall, the donuts were solid, but nothing about the experience made me eager to come back. I don't regret trying it, but I also don't really understand the hype.
