Must Try The Wush Wush Coffee
    Jane C.

Stumbled upon this gem while in Spokane. We had the pleasure of being served by an amazing barista, Allison. The incredible thing about this place is that they serve FREE tasters! Yes, you heard that right...FREE!!! You get to choose 3- 2oz pour overs which allows you to try their coffee without any commitment to purchase. But why wouldn't you after trying some of their best of the best? And did you see the merch?! I couldn't help but snag a few of those as well. It's DAMN GOOD branding. I loved everything about this place. ISSA VIBE~ While we were there, the owner Deborah and her dog Lucy walked in and we were thrilled to meet her. She shared her story of how her Coffee Adventures started and where it's headed. She gave us a personal tour of what happens behind the scene. What an incredible generosity and intentional bonding experience we had with everyone there! I wish all my experiences at coffee shops are just like this one! Allison and Deborah, you set the bar high for this gal! Definitely coming back! Also, check out their Coffee Bar downtown "First Avenue Coffee"!

Roast House has been a gem in Spokane for a few years now. They build a relationship with the farmer and pay a fair, living wage for their product. Sustainability and fair trade are the pillars of Roast House. But their beans... Oh their beans! Perfectly sourced and perfectly roasted. You will not find a better brew in town.

Seattle transplant has found new love. Starbucks, eat your heart out! The best tasting coffee in town right here folks. Come in for some freshly roasted organic beans and taste some of the crazy good varieties they have - like Viva La Noche (my personal fave! It smells heavenly - chocolate and smoked cedar. Yum) They are experts at creating new combs and the people that work here are great - you can tell they simply love what they do. You will not be disappointed!

Visited here after meeting the barista at Yokes. This was a fabulous find! A true coffee tasting room with a great selection and a very knowledgeable barista. He offered the samples of the day, asked us what we liked and then nailed it with he's recommendation and more samples. Came in for a sample and left with 2 pounds of coffee! A real treat, hope you try it soon!

This coffee is awesome. My wife who has to have cream and sugar in her coffee thought it was delicious without the added sweeteners.

There is a small space to sit that is primarily within the business, but plenty of room in the shared space if you are looking for a place to extend your visit. I asked the barista some questions and noticed that he was meticulously measuring coffee grounds by weight and tamping with precision. He was very helpful and willing to discuss the possibilities to help me land on my drink of choice. He proceeded to make me the best "dirty chai" I have maybe ever had. The chai is sourced from a small business in Bend. It was a perfectly spiced blend. The espresso was smooth and flavorful. It was so delicious I went back for another the next day. This establishment serves only beverages (as far as I could tell) but they are made with care and skill. Highly recommend.

In…read morethe past two years I have tried several well recommended spokane cafes that were all great, tasty, and slightly more expensive than I would like. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

AMBIANCE Parking: Downtown parking is downtown parking thus requiring some patience. There is some street parking and garage parking nearby. Seating: Inside seating, plenty of cozy nooks and tables, with room for about 40-50 people. Vibes: You gotta love Spokane. A growing town but a small town feel. The spot itself feels like a love letter to books and community with that old soul essence. You walk in and your senses are welcomed from the aroma of coffee and the hustle and bustle of employees and customers moving around. One side you'll see the cafe but a good portion is a lot of shelves with books and gifts. A very stimulating space, great place to study or get work done. CAFES & RETAILS Cold Brew - Hazelnut (Recommend) They have these house brews with selective flavors. I got a staple hazelnut that provided a nice nutty earthy feel. The coffee was strong as it kept me up for a busy day. Retails (Recommend) I didn't get anything but if my luggage had room I probably totally would have. Great range of books and creative thoughtful gifts (bookmarks, candles, and trinkets). CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly and welcoming. The staff contributes to the warm atmosphere and makes the space feel approachable. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good coffee, cozy vibes, and a sense of community that makes you want to stay awhile. Atticus isn't just a coffee shop but a neighborly space that brings the locals and visitors together. If you're in Spokane and need a place to relax, come through! TIPS: * Take your time and browse the books and gifts, and enjoy the specials!

I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. Before you leave, browse the retail wall. Solid selection of beans to take home, plus some genuinely cute goods worth picking up. This place has real soul. You'll feel it.
