The bureau shared that it was unable to determine fault. That is not the same as concluding that you were free of fault. 3. You did not offer to replace the engine free of charge. Instead, I was quoted approximately $6,000 to replace the engine after it failed shortly following service at your shop, and I declined that proposal. Had a no-cost replacement been offered, I would have gladly accepted it. I had invested most of my savings into that car. It was my first major purchase. Given that you left this process completely unscathed, your inaccurate statements about me and the situation feel unnecessary, unprofessional, and overall unkind.
