Called in to get my brakes done and the owner kept the store open so that I could drop off my car before my trip. I have an AMG Mercedes and usually do the work myself, but did not have time before my trip. I talked to the owner and he was extremely transparent about his pricing and the process. I could not believe a shop in Beverly Hills would be so reasonable and charge customers responsibly. I felt a little self-conscious bringing in my 10 year old Nissan Pathfinder into a car repair shop in Beverly Hills but Kami immediately put my mind to ease and treated me and my car with the highest respects. He was unbelievably kind and although his parking lot is filled with cars that most people will only ever get to admire from afar, he sincerely made me feel like I was his number one priority. Although I already felt that his shop's customer service and performance exceeded my expectations, imagine my surprise when my finished car was waiting for me washed and waxed inside and out! As I happily got into my vehicle, one of Kami's colleagues even offered me a towel in case the seats were still damp from the thorough wash they received. Horrible Horrible Horrible! I have never taken time to write bad reviews for any businesses but this is an exception. I took my car in to check the tire pressure because there was a blinking light and I got a call from Kami saying that there had been an accident and I needed to come to the shop. He had put the car on a pedestal (or some sort of makeshift jack) and it fell over causing extensive damage to the whole bottom of the car. Mistakes happen, I get it and I am usually very understanding, but when he refused to give me his insurance information, that is when the situation got nasty. He proceeded to say that he would fix the damage himself but would not give me his insurance information so that I could take it to a certified shop to get it fixed. I feel like it is my duty and responsibility to share this information, especially because after talking to others who have used his services I heard similar complaints. read more

This is the cleanest, most professional car mechanic shop I've been to.... and until I found them I tried many. They have serviced my 2000 Ford Explorer, my AMG 55 and my Range Rover. I completely agree with Chris H. in that Kami is the absolute best. I was first introduced to him because my boss is a big car guy and always gets his cars serviced by Kami at Royal Motors. It is only a few blocks away from our office in Beverly Hills, so super convenient and easy to drop off and pick up. I don't drive a particularly fancy car (a 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid), but I also haven't had much trouble with it. However, when I got into a fender bender with a Mercedes, Kami really came to the rescue. I was driving behind the other car at night and basically stopped short at a light. It was totally my fault but it was also just a light tap with little to no damage (seriously, a pinkie nail length scratch on the bumper? Isn't that what bumpers are for?), but the person in the Mercedes was very high strung and we exchanged phone numbers etc. It took her several weeks to call me up and deal with the situation but at this point, I just wanted the ordeal done with. So I called Kami up and told him this woman would be in touch and he assured me he would deal with everything. The woman wound up needing the whole bumper taken off to be repainted and a rental car for a few days, but Kami kept the costs relatively low (I was paying for everything), and provided her with a decent-but-cheap rental. He made the whole stressful process bearable and kept me in the loop the whole time. When I finally went to pay and met him in person he was just as friendly and personable as he is on the phone and I couldn't recommend someone more! read more

I originally came here in a rush because one of my tail lights had gone out about an hour before I was leaving for Vegas (NOT a great drive to make w/o a brake light!). Kami not only fixed my light FOR FREE but he also fixed my old and wobbly license plate holder that my dad jerry-rigged with tape (long story). A few weeks later, when my car was sideswiped while parked, I decided to bring my car back in (one good deed deserves another).
