A few friends suggested visiting a brewery while in Denver. My friend and I were short on time, but we were determined to visit at least one microbrewery so we stopped in for a quick drink. From the moment we walked in, we could tell that Reverence had a laid back neighborhood vibe. I actually felt a little out of place because we were dressed up, but everyone in the bar was super chill. Ryan greeted us immediately and answered our questions about the beer. He was extremely nice and very hospitable. We opted for 4 oz. pours since we were in a hurry. Ryan gave us sample of the Barney's N8mare Blueberry Smoothie Sour and it was really good! I ordered a 4 oz. pour of the Watson B Pils Pilsner and I enjoyed it. It was the perfect amount for a quick tasting. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had reservations at another place. The next time I'm in Denver, I will be making a point to visit Reverence again. I'll be sure that I'm not in a hurry because this brewery is the perfect place to hang out and relax with friends. read more

Great local brewery. My friend and I were visiting Denver, and really wanted to visit a microbrewery while in town. I think we made the best possible choice. When we arrived the place had customers, but was not crowded. So we were able to sit directly at there pull up bar. There was seating outside as well. While our visit was short and sweet, we had excellent service by Ryan - our server. He had great customer service. Drink - we had the 3 oz Pilsner. And it was great. Then Ryan was generous enough to give us a sample of there blueberry sour, and it was delicious. Would recommend this, if your willing to go out of your comfort zone. read more

The cutest brewery off of Colfax. The surrounding area is sketchy, so I would just be mindful of that. However, the brewery itself serves up the coolest beers that truly taste what they say they will taste like! I'm not a fan of sours and loved this sour. The flights come with popcorn too, how cute! It's owned by the most adorable couple who pour their hearts and souls into their establishment, and it shows! This is hands down our favorite bar of all time, right here in Uptown/Cap Hill. We are proud mug club members, and my husband and I have been coming here for four years now. From day one, it has felt like home. This is one of those rare places where everyone is genuinely welcome. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, you walk in and you belong. We always joke that it's like a real-life version of Cheers, because before long, the bartenders know your name, your drink, and actually care how you're doing. A huge shout out to Nate, the owner, who we see all the time behind the bar and in the brewery. He not only runs the place, he bartends, brews the beer himself, and is genuinely present. That level of care shows in everything here, from the atmosphere to the quality of the beer and the community he's built. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and authentic. It's places like this that make us proud to live in and around Denver and to be part of the community here. The staff are incredible: kind, funny, attentive, and consistent. You can come in after a long day and instantly feel lighter, or celebrate something big and know you're surrounded by people who are happy you're there. When I was in Denver last I went to as many breweries as I could, mainly focusing on ones that I have never been to before. Reverence Brewing Company is just one of those. Continuing with a string of Mexican Lagers while on this trip I got a phenomenal one here. Shelter In Cove is the name of the one I had here and I think it was one of the best ones I had when on this trip. The maltiness and lime flavors are wonderful and it goes down very smooth and is very refreshing! Definitely a wonderful beer to enjoy and one I very much recommend! read more

New independent Brewery next to Pho & Bar. I believe they got their start in the UP of Michigan. 1) only 4 on tap and some homemade root beer 2) lager and raspberry wheat was good. I kind of like mixing the beers. I'm not a IPA fan but their hazy one was good. 3) I don't like root beer soda but heard it from my counterpart that is was delicious 4) no food but feel free to bring anything in or order a banh mi from next door 5) some outdoor seating but most of the seating is indoors and comfortable. And unfor - the temp unhomed squad next door sometimes ask for money. 6) HH from 7-10pm on Saturday/Sunday w/ $1 off pints. Newly opened brewery! They have a limited menu of beers right now since they have a lot still brewing, but everything available is delicious. The owners are happy to give sample tastings of what's currently available. The Sanguine Hazy IPA is everything you want in a hazy - juicy as can be. The Sedora raspberry wheat ale is lovely as well and is such a beautiful ruby color! Price is right too, $7 a pint :) give them a try!! read more

3.5 stars. Customer service is the best part about Reverence. I came here on a date and arrived first. Sat at the bar, where the bartender greeted me, poured me a beer, and told me about the brews on tap. Super interesting stories, including the trips that Reverence offers. I wasn't a huge fan of the beers themselves (blame my palette) and there's a limited selection. Nothing stood about the vibe or interior. Feels cozy but scrapped together... that might be the intention. Great neighborhood to be located in, and I'm sure they get a ton of traffic. I think you'd either love or feel "meh" about Reverence, depending on your favorite type of beers. I could tell everything was made with thought and care. We came here based on reviews - you will NOT be disappointed if you do the same. Ambiance, beer, and customer service were unmatched. The owner took the time to come chat with us and was incredibly nice and helpful in making beer choices. I have never found an IPA that I could tolerate, but the Hop Julius was incredible. This place is so cute and a step into the past. I loved seeing young people playing cribbage at the bar when I went there to meet up with my craft club. I am not a huge beer drinker so was thrilled they had a seltzer option that was honestly delicious. My friend got a beer though and mentioned it was tasty twice. What a fun quaint brewery. I just recently moved around the corner and met up with a friend here to sample some of their offerings. The décor is fun. You can cozy up on the couch by the fireplace. Good assortment of beer including a hazy IPA and a strawberry sour. The owner was super friendly and seemed to engage with all of his customers. The clientele seemed to be more neighborhood locals, which is always fun. Dog friendly to boot! I will definitely be stopping in again soon. read more
