Bierstadt Lagerhaus is a really cool brewery located in the bustling RiNo neighborhood. I'm normally not a really big beer guy, but if my friends want to go to Bierstadt, I normally oblige happily. There is a good amount of seating outside and there are two stories inside with plenty of standing space. Even if it's super busy, it never feels super packed in there which is nice. They also have a few bars in there so there never seems to be a super long line at any of them. A cool thing about Bierstadt is that they often have events going on there whether it's live music, wrestling shows (the WWE kind), and a lot of other stuff. Make sure to check out their calendar. I do wish they had a wider range of beers especially for people that aren't huge fans of beer like me.

A classic German inspired lagerhaus in the RiNo area of Denver, this spot has got it all! Great beers, food, two floors of space and tons of adult games to play with family/friends as well. QR codes on the table so you don't even need to leave your seat- they will bring your order to you! You can also order/sit at the bar areas in there as well though. Go for the slow pour pils- it takes about 5 minutes to pour but it's absolutely worth the time to wait for a beer. Respect the process!

What a humongous place to hang out an have a drink an play some life size beer pong haha. Truly unique place in the heart of lodo. Definitely felt like I belonged here with my German heritage an all. A place I will definitely come back to, from the unique beer to mouth watering food items.

We reserved a space for work for a happy hour on a Thursday for 15 people starting at 4. Our reserved section was the tables near the games on the 1st floor in the large shipping containers, it worked great! It was super easy to start a tab with one card, and they were accommodating to use the drink tickets we provided to keep track of everyone's drinks. We ordered several pretzels (largest I've ever seen!) and the wings - buffalo, naked and curry. Everything was super tasty - really enjoyed the naked wings and pretzels. I wasn't drinking and they had a nice selection of N/A (kombucha, lemonade, etc.). Great spot and will be back for work functions!

We love German food so we stopped here for lunch. I'll start with the food. It was very good. The schnitzel was delicious. One of the pretzels we got was cooked perfectly. The other was burnt. I was surprised there was no spaetzel. The service was not good. I don't like ordering everything from my phone and then being charged a 20% automatic gratuity. For someone bringing me a tray of food? They never came back; they didn't provide any service worthy of a gratuity. It's automatic regardless of party size. The other thing that surprised me was the limited choices for beer at a BEER HALL. It looked like the games were fun but we weren't allowed back there because we had our 10 year old with us.

Stopped in to check this spot out as it was closed the last time I was in the area and although it was opened, I was disappointed to find out that they would be closing in 30mins for a private event (Holiday party albeit). Nevertheless we were able to order a beer and tour the inside and it seems to be a really cool place. The bartenders were friendly and service was prompt. This inside is very large, includes 2 separate levels with games and food to entertain along with the brew. I will definitely be back to visit to get a better an experience and would recommend if in town and in need of something fun to do in a warm and spacious spot that you check it out. P.S. The one beer I had was great

Great Lagers, pretzels and wings were amazing. Didn't appreciate that we were charged 20% gratuity ok every transaction ( we ran 5) even though we sat on the bar we had to stand in line and order. Other than that all good!

This place was really cool! Came here on a Thursday night around 6pm and it had live music playing. I enjoyed the oversized everything from beer pong, corn hole, jenga. Very chill spot to grab a couple drinks!

    Live music.

A German inspired lagerhaus! Beers. Ciders. German food in an industrial warehouse turned rack house. Tons of seating in and out. Longs tables, bar tops, two levels and lots of space. Live music on the lower level and access to a winery if beer and cider aren't your thing. Order at your table and food magically appears. All the good German staples and really yummy fries. Tons of games to keep the big kids busy being silly. Great place to host a group event. So much space.

Mac is also pretty tasty. They added, like, croutons or whatever on top for some crunch. Curry sauce also goes crazy. I think the currywurst is still better tho.

We were greeted and served by the bartender Junebug and although it seemed like he was the only staff, he was friendly and attentive with us and all the patrons. The beer was great, there were so many great options to choose from and so we had some of the IPAs, lagers and ales. Staying true to the name, the decor has a woodsy feel and the handles are made of various wood shapes. It was nice to see that they also offer some mixed drink options, margaritas, and a slushy option. There were some salty snacks available for purchase which was also a nice option to have. Happy Hour M-F 3-6pm with $5 pints. The place and restrooms were clean (two singles), there were some canned beers and merch items available for purchase, an outdoor patio and plenty of street parking. Overall the service and place were great! Some things to mention, having the live band was great and the place is dog and kid friendly which are also a nice option to have at any venue. But the volume of the jazz band was just a bit too loud for the space and together with the many small kids playing and running around took away from this being a relaxing day. Nonetheless, the bartender Junebug made it an overall enjoyable evening after the kids left and we closed off the evening with another great brewery find that we'll be sure to visit again.

There always seems to be multiple meetups happening, but the space is big enough to accommodate, especially when it's warm for the little front patio. Even with the noise of people, it's still comfortable to talk and have a great time. For a party of two or a get down and party to raise good cheer, this is a terrific and TASTY place to tip one back!

The vibe is cool with music playing, garage doors that open up to the outdoor patio & a friendly staff. We arrived mid afternoon on a sunny Sunday for pizza. As the owner(s) say, why the name Black Shirt, "it's my symbol of rebellion- Johnny Cash". " Black shirts stand for rebellion, independence, and the courage to stand apart." And their pizzas do stand apart from others! We ordered the War Pig Pizza and a small Caesar Salad. The pizza was topped with a red sauce & a cheese blend, with cotija, pepperoni, prosciutto, bacon, sun-dried tomatoes & a chipotle-maple glaze - it was outstanding! The combination with these ingredients made for a delicious craveable pizza. I especially liked the glaze, more sweet than spicy. However, the salad was just okay, the dressing didn't have a lot of flavor & the lettuce could have been more fresh. Overall a great lunch & I look forward to trying some of their other pizzas as well as their beer.
