I am so sad the pastry case was empty but someone had just cleaned her out! Great for her, but sad for me! Listen I don't expect much in small towns.. but hello!! This cute not so little place is deceptively amazing! While they are not doing pastries at the moment, this is a must go to. Love the cardomom syrup they offer, the staff was so nice, and if you go downstairs there is a lounge area with a record player and art displayed. Honestly, we've been to this place 5ish times but hadn't been in several months. The drinks are ok, but I was absolutely astounded at the double standard I saw. Because of COVID they won't let you touch the screen to sign or leave a tip after paying. So, the owner instead asks you at the end of the payment process... "Would you like to leave 15, 20, or 25 percent today?" Lol! This is the owner giving customers no option to not tip or tip lower than 15%. AND she can't even call it a tip. Before she asks she lowers her voice because she's embarrassed to be asking, which she should be. BUT WAIT, so I sat there for 2 hours by the register and listened. She ONLY asks the people that she doesn't know, the people that aren't regulars. I was blown away. So cheap. Unprofessional. I won't be going back for this reason. read more

I absolutely love this place. The menu is so different than other coffee/tea places and yet you can get a traditional drink as well. Gina is AMAZING, so sweet and always helpful. I love that she sells local products and have tried so many different local makers because of it. I am one of the lucky ones.. I have the opportunity to drive right by this lovely spot every day on my way to work. Gina, the owner and barista is the BEST. She is so welcoming and kind. She treats everyone like an old friend. I have always had amazing service and every coffee drink that I've ever has been delicious. There are always a multitude of locally sourced goodies to choose from. Trust me.. they are all amazing!! There is such a warm and inviting atmosphere, even when I'm running late, I am pulled to pause and enjoy the moment. Prairie Creek is a short drive from Rogers. If you want to be treated like a friend instead of an order, I urge you to make the trip. Covid has been especially hard on small businesses. Gina had to make some adjustments to how she checks guests out. Instead of being able to choose your own tip and add your signature, Gina has to do this step.. her loyal customers have made it clear, we want to tip her. So now she must ask what percentage. I never imagined that someone could be offended by that. I've said NO tip before. ** I was placing cash in her tip jar. But she wouldn't have thought twice if I hadn't of tipped. There are some of us that she knows what we are going to say before she asks. I, among with countless other customers, adore Gina. We stop in to see her as much as we stop in for coffee. There is always going to be that one negative nellie.. we all have bad days, if we really feel strongly about something, why not bring it up to the owner and get their take on it before writing a scathing review. read more

I have tasted championship coffee around the US with top baristas, I'm a coffee SNOB. This lady and her joe is legit. Her perfectly crafted coffee and unique offerings are some of the best I've ever had. The attention she paid to every single patron's order was evident in her care and attitude. The food offerings were delicious and she had a very extensive tea list. Although it is a small shop she has utilized her space wisely and the shop has a good vibe. The only "negative" I can think of is her location. It's not going to be easy for me to frequent her shop, and that makes me sad. But for anyone who can easily visit, you have definitely found a hidden gem. read more
