She informed me that my therapist, Emily, and my husband's therapist, Kimberly, no longer want to service us because we did not leave a tip at our last appointment. At that visit, we simply did not have cash with us. We have been loyal clients at Massage Envy Copper City for the past 4-5 years. My husband has seen Kimberly the entire time and has always tipped her after every session. It is shocking that after years of consistent support, both therapists refuse to see us over a single instance where we were unable to tip. The manager told us we could switch to other therapists and stated that the therapists "work for tips." This is confusing, because we pay a monthly membership fee for 60‑minute sessions, regularly add an extra 30 minutes, and purchase add‑ons like lavender oil. Tipping is appreciated, but it is not a requirement of the membership agreement. I asked the manager a simple question: if we choose not to tip any therapist in the future, would we then be refused service entirely? The situation makes no sense, and I am shocked and disappointed to be treated this way after years of loyalty. My husband has even purchased Massage Envy gift cards for his workplace. This location is in a big parking space so there is plenty of room to park. Humera suggested that to get a better package deal, to not buy from Groupon and to buy it directly with her so she can assure me better prices. I originally wanted bought a Groupon for a large area but I wanted a medium area done & small area, I ended up paying $280 for both services. Still pretty cheap for laser. Humera also price matches the Groupon so don't hesitate if you see a cheaper price compared to her place. She said to just screenshot it and show it her and they will apply the discount. I am still waiting for results for one of my services as I am noticing that it is growing a lot quicker than anticipated, thankfully its 6 sessions!
