3/2/2026-I'm so upset!!! I called today to confirm my next appointment and was transferred to the Manager at Massage Envy Copper City. She informed me that my therapist, Emily, and my husband's therapist, Kimberly, no longer want to service us because we did not leave a tip at our last appointment. At that visit, we simply did not have cash with us. We have been loyal clients at Massage Envy Copper City for the past 4-5 years. My husband has seen Kimberly the entire time and has always tipped her after every session. It is shocking that after years of consistent support, both therapists refuse to see us over a single instance where we were unable to tip. The manager told us we could switch to other therapists and stated that the therapists "work for tips." This is confusing, because we pay a monthly membership fee for 60‑minute sessions, regularly add an extra 30 minutes, and purchase add‑ons like lavender oil. Tipping is appreciated, but it is not a requirement of the membership agreement. I asked the manager a simple question: if we choose not to tip any therapist in the future, would we then be refused service entirely? The situation makes no sense, and I am shocked and disappointed to be treated this way after years of loyalty. My husband has even purchased Massage Envy gift cards for his workplace. my girlfriend got me a gift card for a massage in this place. I've been there before and didn't like the massage at all. I went back three days after she purchased the gift card for my birthday. Plenty of parking, they are following covid protocols and will have you wait in your car until it's time for your appointment. I checked in and was alerted to go in, front desk was friendly and explained everything to me about the massage and where the bathroom was. They mentioned my therapist was really good, she wasn't. She talked for the first 15 minutes and gave me a one hand massage, I think she was checking her phone the whole other time. I was briefly told about the membership but I was not sold. Went to the miramar location a week after and signed up there instead. I have been looking for a way to fight the recent adult acne that has plagued my face. I did what I felt was the right thing and that was to go to the Dermatologist, however, I left there with 3 prescriptions for antibiotics. I am not a fan of meds as a first line of defense, so after speaking to a friend, she recommended I try a facial at Massage Envy. Being that my friend knows me so well, she knew I would not spend much money on myself so she gifted me a service. She highly recommended Anabel and I set up an appointment. WHOA!!! Is the best way to describe how I felt after my facial. It was the first facial I had ever had (35 years and counting ... lol) and it felt so refreshing. Anabel is VERY knowledgable in what she does and gives great advice. She explains every step along the way and the importance of a daily skin regime. Everything about their front desk is shady. They can't make up their minds on how much services and contracts cost. I got one price over the phone and another price when I showed up in person. After finally settling on a 6 month contract they said they wouldnt accept my MASSAGE ENVY gift card that my wife bought from that very location as a gift for me. Huh?? They then call me back the next day to say they would accept the gift card but I have to pay a "contract signup fee" of 55 dollars...that they previously agreed to waive..Wow!! I felt like they were a cut rate shop that would take my money and run. Needless to say, I did not sign anything. I will go to Pines location that has always been great. Booked a one hour massage. Walk in to an ice box. Getting a massage from one of the best per the front desk girl. She is rubbing my back for 10min. I said can you use your hands and she says sure. Then she moves to the neck again with just a rub with her forearms and knuckles. I have to tell her again please use the hands. She does but says that she is an elbow and knuckle person. I give up after more rubbing and no massage. Then as I check out I mention that I really wanted a massage with hands. The girl says massages are elbow to forearm. I was stunned. Massage Envy has a great first-time rate of $50 for a 60min massage, so I took advantage. I was running late (so mad at myself for that!) and had trouble finding the place (probably bc I was rushing). One of the girls at the front desk had my paperwork ready to fill out as I walked in to help me save time. Nice gesture, but still having to fill out paperwork doesn't save much time. What I wish they would do is not ask for my name on each of the 3 forms and other info like number and address. I understand that each form has its own purpose, but when handed to you as a packet, that info can be written once and transcribed to the other papers (or even computer system) by reception. Or there can be an online form you can fill out before your visit. (My doctor has this.) I know a lot of places do these papers thing, though. I just wish we could make it better everywhere! My masseuse was great, though! I got lucky, and she didn't have a client after me nor was the room being used after me. So instead of cutting my time short due to my tardiness, she extended it so I could get close to the full hour. Very appreciative of that! We talked the entire time, which is a first. Usually they don't talk while massaging me, so I can just relax. But our conversation was good, and I didn't mind. Unfortunately, she is the only thing I especially liked at this Massage Envy. The girls at the front didn't seem presentable (disheveled looks), but they were nice enough. After you get relaxed from your massage, you're bombarded with the pressure to pay for a membership. Fast talking, today-only deals. If you're not a member, regular 60 minute massage is $89! That's a very high price in comparison to others I've seen. No, thank you. Cooper City Massage Envy, is one of my favorite places to walk into. I love that the girls are so polite, in fact they could give the girls at my doctors office a few pointers. :) My friend,TT and I book the couples room with Kirvin and Chris. I know Kirin is the best and I let TT "think" Chris is the best. ;) We both prefer therapeutic massage, TT prefers a firm massage, and I a more gentle massage due to Fibromyalgia. I made an appointment for my 14-year-old daughter for a facial. At no point did the employee who initially took my reservation inform me that because my daughter is 14, I must remain in the room the entire time. If I had this information prior to my daughter's reservation, I would have not scheduled another appointment during this time. I was a member of Massage Envy in Cooper City . When the pandemic hit I had 2 sessions that I didn't take and on the 3 rd month they billed my account again even though they were closed. I tried today to make an appointment to get the 2 that were owed to me and they told me that since I disputed the one payment with my bank when they were closed that I was no longer a member and could not receive the sessions that I PAID FOR. I added for an additional $10.00 an add on oil for my skin, this add on left my skin feeling soooo good, and smooth not oily at all, when Jose had completed my massage I got ready for my facial, I added a lip scrub and moisturizer to my facial, I was given facial by Cynthia, one of the best facials I have had, I had a seaweed mask with eye treatment, I left Massage Envy in Cooper City, feeling totally relaxed, and looking great. I just left a 1 star review a few weeks ago for the plantation location. Now the Cooper City location cancels my massage 30 mins before my appointment in typical fashion. I can understand cancellations. But having them happen almost every time like clockwork is unacceptable. It's is even more frustrating when you are set and looking foward to a massage and then be told to that I can book with one of their massage therapists that I see has tons of openings (bad sign) or not have one today. Massage Envy Cooper City is a disaster to visit. First off, it is freezing inside. I am a member at the Pembroke Pines location but have been to Cooper City before and they made me fill out forms again and cut into my massage time by making me update my forms. Even though I just did so a few months ago. Then they asked me if I wanted to check out before I even had my massage. Maybe because I had a 9:00 appointment but I didn't know what to tip because I had never had the massage therapist before. I've left incredibly relaxed and impressed with massages form Gigi, and I've left disappointed and unsatisfied with a massage from Lauren whose massage ended 2 minutes early... (come on every minute counts!) My advice is if you find a massage therapist you like stick to them, trying someone new might make you feel like you didn't get your money's worth like I did.. If this location were not part of a national chain, it might be OK, but it is saddled with corporate policies and procedures that emphasize aggressive sales tactics more than health benefits. The front office staff here is courteous, but the turnover among masseuses seems pretty high. The location is a bit noisy, and the owner seems unaware how his booming voice and loud conversations carry throughout the small space and interfere with the mood. Again, this place tries hard but the parent company and the mediocrity allowed by other Massage Envy locations I have tried around the country add a weight that is too heavy for a single store to sustain. read more

I received a gift from my wife to do a facial and massage. I didn't like all the paper work but it was ok. The facial and massage were very good and o have home back twice to the same lady that dos my facial. I was talked into a contract and felt I need it so I took it. Today 6/2/15 I wanted to give my daughter my facial and massage instead of me going. I called and was told yea but only one I would have to pay for the other I don't agree with that since I am already paying for both I was also told I have to leave a credit card for her and that upset me because it is my contract and has nothing to do with my daughter and I already have a CC on file. The girl was apologetic but that did not help since I would still have to give the card and pay for one of the service. I can say not happy about that. read more

if I could give less than one star I would. Avoid this place at all costs. I have upper neck pain all the time and decided to give this place a try. I told them about some medical history and that I have really bad neck pain. When I first was talking to my therapist, Elsa, she asked if I would like to have a medium massage (meaning somewhat firm) I said umm sure... I want something more gentle because I'm in a lot of pain . She immediately starts using ELBOWS as hard as she can and I asked multiple times to not be so hard it was hurting so bad I was holding my breath. She said "you have lots of knots...this is a good pain" no. I know good pain this was brutal. My hair was pulled (I am not kidding or exaggerating) she would grab my hair halfway down my back and pull it. I've NEVER had that. I told them I walked in with a brutal migraine and that's why I got a massage last minute and I was trusting this lady because she said I will feel better. I woke up in such bad pain I couldn't move my neck and had to have an emergency appointment with my chiropractor. I am still in horrible pain. It was so careless do not go here. Could you imagine that's their speciality thank goodness I didn't get a facial. read more
