It isn't my first time getting acupuncture, but I should have come to this place earlier. My prior…read moreexperience was subpar, but this place set it right. I got a shoulder pain from carrying a heavy travel bag. A friend referred me there. It's pricey, but the pain isn't going away, so I bite the bullet for it. You have to make an initial consultation appointment before any visits. I did it online it was easy. I got the appointment, and I showed up. Seung was my initial therapist. He is careful, attentive, respectful, and has an excellent bedside manner. We did the consultation. He gave me the suggestion and asked when I wanted to start. Well, immediately because my shoulder is hurting. He did acupuncture, cupping during the first session, and some massage on my shoulder. My first visit was 2hr long. Time wasn't an issue, but some places want you out asap. This was not the case. The cupping really showed where my shoulder needed some TLC. I had pepperoni marks on the exact spots for days. I went back a week later and did the same thing. My treatment plan was a five-session course. I do see meaningful progress after each. And I got to take naps as I was getting the needles and cupping. I also had the pleasure of having two sessions with Bo. One spot needed some fine-tuning. She really did some magic on me. The pain in that spot went away immediately after she placed the needles. We were testing the before-and-after effect. I literally asked, "Am I imagining things, or did the pain go away?" She gave me a lovely smile without saying how proud she was that she got the right pressure point! I am still in awe of what happened. If you are hesitating about acupuncture, please don't. Give it a try. This place is beautiful--bright, clean, and peaceful. The staff is lovely!

They personalize exercises that target pain. This clinic is the only place I've ever experienced real hands-on treatment. Bonus: a massage session after PT!

But in the end, even paying out of pocket was still worth it. My condition resolved itself in just a handful of sessions and I'm so grateful for their expertise and experience. Each visit had a different treatment approach based on how I was progressing. Everyone here is super professional and informative. The office runs smoothly and everything feels essentially like your regular doctor's office. If you have specific ailments and can't find a traditional doctor or specialist to treat you - or appointments are months away - don't rule out acupuncture treatment here! Your health can't wait!

In less than 4 months I'd say I'm 80% healed. I was diagnosed in November 25th and had very little progress from then to February. The only reason I didn't go sooner was being my neurologist claimed acupuncture did not work and said that with Bell's palsy it's just a waiting game. Everyone is also very friendly from the moment you walk in and meet with the receptionist to the moment you leave. It is also very clean and relaxing. On the first day Peini explained everything to me very clearly what is Bell's palsy why and how it happened, and went over the whole process with me along with giving homework, facial exercises and things to avoid. She is also very caring and celebrates your progress with you :) I will definitely continue seeing her even when I'm at 100%

There is a $10 tip minimum. The whole place is cash only. Went for a 60 minute reflexology foot massage, which was great and much better than another I've had. The person I got was very strong and specific as to where she was massaging, and listened when I asked for softer on certain areas. I've gotten massages before that were just kind of the person ambling around pressing randomly, and that is not what I got here, luckily. She also used some kind of heated tool for 'lymphatic detoxification' she said, which felt stimulating on the legs. I asked for some extra attention to one heel and she did that. I think you need to say exactly what you want if you're looking for something specific, she understood me for the most part. I did not hear much noise from the street. But the workers do talk to each other at times and the front door has a cluster of bells. It's a bare bones but clean place.

The usual place I go to was really busy, so I decided to visit An Qi. The place is small, but very clean. Each individual cubicle is rather spacious for a bare bones massage place. Because they're new, very few people know about them. Absolutely no clients right now, but I'm sure this will change. I opted for an hour long foot massage because my feet have been hurting. The service was really friendly, warm, and cordial. The lotion they used has a lovely scent. I was really happy with my massage. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
