To sum it up, I walked in with crutches and left without them (no, he didn't steal my crutches, haha!). I had hurt my ankle and I wasn't able to walk on it without pain, he took a look at my ankle, found where the pain was, and then he showed me exactly what bone and tendons were causing my pain on an anatomy app he has on his tablet. He then did all sorts of weird things to my ankle that I don't understand that physical therapists do, and then he taped it with a knob inside the tape to help keep my cuboid in place. After that, I was able to walk without my crutches. Absolutely amazing! All my other injuries have been treated with care, humor, understanding, thoroughness, and speed. I will never like the ASTYM treatment, but dang it, it WORKS. hahaha! If you have an injury, go see him, he's a miracle worker!

As the massage progressed, she was able to work on my knots and injured areas and assess an appropriate amount of pressure without asking. This is interesting, because I believe that I like a massage that is deeper than average. I actually stopped her for a second to ask how she knew how much pressure I could handle comfortably and she basically said that she could tell from the feedback from my body. It is great to work with someone that has their sensory acuity honed to that level. Of course, I was not healed in one visit, but it was a spiritual experience and would will recommend her to any that ask. I have a pretty bad back and neck and he manages to help me achieve a great workout by really adjusting every workout so I don't hurt myself while keeping my heart rate up and he stretches me at the end like a pro ball stretcher. In addition, he helps me figure out a meal plan and follows me on his electronic devices to make sure I'm keeping up with my exercises and nutrition on myfitnesspal. After having ongoing back pain for weeks now, I've been trying everything I can! I scheduled a 90-minute first time session with Aidan, and we talked through why I was there and his process. Since I'd never done this before I was feeling a little nervous, but he was so kind and understanding and made me feel so comfortable. I started by lying on my back and he explained everything he was doing as he did it. It wasn't painful at all! You could feel the smallest prick when the needles went in, but they were so thin and small that it was very light. He then left the room and let me lay on the table and just enjoy the acupuncture. This was literally the most relaxed I've ever felt in my whole life. I can't stop thinking about it! When he first said he was going to let me lay for about 20 minutes I was so worried that my mind would start racing and I would hyper focus on any pain points throughout my body. The exact opposite happened and I was insanely relaxed. I wouldn't say I was skeptical going into the session, but I definitely didn't expect to feel this at peace. My mind was clear for the first time in my life and I felt so good! After 20 minutes Aidan came back and I laid on my stomach and we focused on the part of my back that's been causing me pain. He's also a licensed massage therapist so he did some massage techniques hand in hand with his acupuncture, put some heat on the area of pain and let me sit for another 20 minutes. After that I was done! When he removed the needles, I got up and was able to raise my arms without pain for the first time in WEEKS. Last night I slept through the entire night without any pain, and woke up without pain. For the past few weeks I've been waking up every single morning with throbbing pain in my back, and last night I slept so hard that I almost didn't wake up to my alarm.
