They charged me for the 30-45 min. consultation in addition to my color. The team here is super-friendly but my colorist was new, I think. I ended up going to Salon 730 in F burg and my new colorist showed me all the places in the back of my hair that the colorist at At Last missed. Honestly, I went in with a funky, ombre-hair-color-thing going-on and they fixed it. But it was a bill of about $325. I've NEVER paid that much in my life. After seeing the back of my hair, and paying normal prices elsewhere, I felt totally taken advantage of. Never again. A good experience with a friendly staff but the prices are gouging!

As soon as I pulled my hair out of its bun-mess, she knew the problem. Lori gave me a beautiful face-framing cut that works with my curls. I love it. Why couldn't my guy at home deliver that? My only regret is that I can't fit color into this trip too. Price was completely reasonable for the time and skill; a bargain even. Of course, I may be jaded by DC prices. All the stylists are pleasant and friendly and prices are affordable. It's conveniently located across from the new mall/Trader Joe's. Sheila has styled my hair for over two years and has never disappointed. She is a skilled stylist and an experienced colorist. She really listens to me, makes good recommendations, and takes the time to figure out with me what I really want each time. When I think I want a change, I come prepared to talk it over with Sheila. She never minds the extra time and never rushes me, making sure we are on the same page before proceeding. She's always game to try something new, or go back to something I liked previously, too, never makes me feel bad for wanting to do that. If you are looking for someone to fix a really bad hair cut, please give Sheila a chance to help you. She straightened my hair out twice from awful cuts, where there was not a lot left to work with in both situations (the first time was when I met her, and then once was after I'd tried someone new because I didn't want to wait for her to return from leave...
