Great salon, very talented stylists, welcoming atmosphere. Prices are reasonable too.

They need to get rid of the current store manager, I was a previous hair club member for 9 years…read moreand majority was in Las Vegas where they were phenomenal, when I loved to NJ I was stuck with the Marlton location and I was constantly disappointed in their practices, from having increasing in my rate multiple times per year to them scheduling me appointments when they "forgot" to order my new hair the list goes on and on,..however when the pandemic hit I understand how difficult it was for everyone to adjust but once we were able to go back to the salon I was treated like dirt because I chose to regrow my own hair and stock having them glue it to my scalp causing further hair loss, instead of unhorsing and supporting my requests for clip on hair prices they re scheduled me 3 times, then when I finally arrive for my scheduled appointment my hair was by no means ready for me, when I contacted the manager I was hung up on and berated by her, so I took it further to the regional director whom on the phone was lovely and told me everything I wanted to hear but with no follow up or reconciliation of all of my time and money spent on a product they could not deliver! I still have several "complimentary salon visits" earned by being a loyal costumer both in Nevada and New Jersey for almost 10 years that then now seem to dishonor .... Be very weary of their scams they do not infant care about their clients at least at the Marlton location, I never had these issues in Las Vegas

However, after the experience outlined below, I will not be returning to Nova. This week I had a deeply upsetting experience with Dr. M. I have suffered hormonal acne for several years now. With pregnancy and breastfeeding my symptoms subsided for 2 amazing years. I reached back out to Nova with returned symptoms. I expressed that I was not in a good place about it and that I was feeling hopeless and needed help. I expressed on the phone and via chat that there were specific treatments I wanted to discuss. Medicines that would help internally. I asked to confirm that we could discuss these things at the appointment. I arrived to the appointment and was taken back quickly. I updated information with the technician. Dr. M came in. Within seconds he was shooting off medications and a piece of paper (e script) was handed to me with a single word on it. He didn't ask me about my concerns or habits of care. I barely got out that I already use a product he suggested in the past. I expressed that I didn't want topicals that they made my skin red and irritated. The treatments he prescribed were decided before he even looked at me. He didn't listen, he didn't fully explain the lotions he was prescribing (antibiotic topicals I later researched myself). He told me that he and his wife have acne in a way that felt so dismissive of my current state and condition. At some point I turned to look at the tech for something and turned back to see Dr. M's white jacket tail as he left the office. Not a good bye, not a moment of concern was shown to me. I left the office and cried in my car. I don't want anyone else to experience this. Acne can be awful and psychologically traumatic. If you are affected by something like this I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for *care*.
