Mike gave us a better deal for wood repairs, paint, communication, and attention to detail. I know an expert when I meet one. I always felt at peace with their work because they do things the right way. They are fully insured and bonded and they made sure that any paint debris was thoroughly cleaned up after a days of work. Mike was very up front about what needed to be done before they did any work or repairs. There were no surprises because they put in the work and time to study my home. I had significant termite damage in wood fascia. Whereas other contractors just gave us a simple quote regarding the wood, Mike took the time to walk around the house *several* times early in the mornings before the project began to explain why and which wood repairs needed to be made and why they were in the best interest of the structure. He explained to me that the house needed to be washed and that some of the wood would not survive that washing. He said he could paint over some of the damage, which some painters do, but it would not last. I appreciated his candor and expert opinion. This is just one example of his solid advice. During the course of the project, the painters were very thorough in making repairs and painting all of the details of my home. This is the second company I've worked with for exterior house renovations. Here's the short version of it ... I was very satisfied with what I got for what I paid. How could it be better? Well, it could always be free but that's wishful thinking ... lol. The primary work that we set out to do were pavers. It's pricey compared to your concrete work but it's got warranty and is much better in comparison. You get what you paid for. We had a good portion of the backyard and one side of the house leading up to part of the front re-done with pavers. It looks suuuuper nice. It's like night and day with the mix-match we had prior to it. The company even did a touch up on part of the wall afterwards which we were super appreciative of. One of the add-ons the company did for us was add an extra underground drainage path that went out to the front of the house. It was hidden nicely in the grass so it's not obvious unless someone points it out. We had an existing line from the previous owner which actually had been partially clogged. The team that was there put in the time and effort to clear that out for us. I actually had no idea it drained out to a particular location until they told me about it. One of the things we re-did were the gutters. When we first did it, we did a super low budget version and it had a lot of issues. You get what you paid for. The design that was offered to us blends into the house REALLY well. You actually wouldn't be able to tell they're gutters unless you see the drainage on the side of the house. One of the areas behind the old gutters wasn't painted and left unprotected from a previous job (different company). The owner of Revive Exteriors came out and touched that up at no cost. I actually had no idea it was him when I saw someone do the work. That's some next level customer service. It doesn't rain a whole lot that often in California so it'll be some time before we get to see the entire thing in action. Either way, it looks super nice outside and I don't have to worry about potential hazards with our old concrete. Was everything sunshine and rainbows? Not entirely. There are some minor complaints. The touch up work got dragged on by like a month (a lot longer than I had hoped). Each time the sales guys came by, they always tried sell more home upgrades to the house despite telling me that we wouldn't need more work after the pavers which got kind of annoying at one point. One of the annoying parts was them not showing up even though they said they'd return. I eventually called one of the ladies from the office that I had worked with early on. Special shout out to this person for being awesome and getting the work done. If you've seen season 2 of "The Boys," you're probably familiar with the punchline "girls get it done." Kellie V. did a fantastic job in addressing my issues with the follow-up. Within less than 1 week of me reaching out to her, she had a team out to take care of everything in one day. I really liked working with her because she's a no non-sense kind of person. If my last company had even 5 Kellies, the company would never have been late on delivering anything. Would I come back here for future work despite some of the hiccups? Definitely. Revive Exteriors is always there to get things done right for us from the start. I also want to add that all of the products being offered by the sales team weren't baloney or anything. What they offered is legitimate and the company does deliver on it. She actually did me a solid that was a huge slip-up from the last contractor we worked with for the paint. It turns out our 50 year warranty paperwork was not properly submitted by the last company. It wasn't her job or Revive Exteriors but she had it taken care of it. I would have never known this had the Revive Exterior team never brought this up. A guy named Kevin came to our door offering a free estimate on the paint and we scheduled an appointment. I needed my stucco redone cause the wind literally blew off my siding. Evan was very helpful and up front with pricing and the services they offered. There were no surprises or hidden fees, and the quotes I got either beat or matched other companies. After all that, I ended up having them do my entire house... stucco, windows, plumbing, electrical, roof, pavers, floors, kitchen, removed popcorn ceiling, baseboards, deck, railing, and they replaced 80% of my frame due to massive termite damage. They literally "rebuilt" my house. Financing was super straightforward and easy. Overall, it was a good experience. I'm sorry pictures are out of order, but there are some before, during, and afters. The whole thing took about 6 months (my sister had something similar donenand it took a tear and a half so these guys dont play around), and Ryan and Chuy were always in communication, always on time and always let me know what was happening and when cause there were a lot of moving parts that needed coordination.
