I do not recommend this company. While they might APPEAR to do good work, they fall short in customer service. They did some work on my backyard last fall buy once the winter was over and settling occurred from the snow, the real issues emerged. I called Patrick to fix the issue and he partially blamed us for something they didn't do properly. We spent quite a bit of money on the job and to have him say that they are not responsible was beyond me. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

We contacted this company for a bid to fix a drainage problem. Mitch came out twice to make sure that we had the right solution. The installers quickly and neatly installed the drainage pipes. After the project Frank came out and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the work they did for us. read more

I setup weekly lawn mowing services and some landscaping tasks with Patrick from RYL back in April of this year. Patrick was very pleasant and seemed competent to handle the task's so I paid up front $3,300.00 for the work (MISTAKE!) I cant put into words how bad this company treated my lawn and myself , I finally fired them on August 1st, and they still showed up on August 8th and mowed my lawn :) It took them almost 2 months to refund my $$ and it wasnt even close to what they actually owed me Steer clear of these clowns read more

After my last review the owner of the company finally called me and left a voicemail "let's figure this refund out". The calls would always be while I am at work and when I called back he would be out on a job. I finally answered at work -first he apologized for the way the fired employee "failed to communicate" with me...he said he just stopped by and our lawn was in "pretty bad shape" . He offered to "resolve the issue" and I informed him that I no longer wish to have their services and will be hiring someone else. I asked for a partial refund (for the failed services of fertilization treatment, dethatching, power raking and overseeding- about half of what I paid) and was told he would look at my account and get back to me but in addition, can they do something to make up for the damage. I said, sure, if you can come down and take care of the weeds that have taken over I would appreciate it but I'm fine with just a partial refund. There were no attempts made to fix anything. Next call I get, again while I'm at work- well, we can't remove the weeds from your lawn, but may be just your garden beds... and why did you want the refund again? Let me look at your account and call you back. I finally get another call today, again during my work hours. This time I'm being told that those services are not typically what they refund for. Then he gets to the point...the negative yelp review...what can we do so you can take it down? After 15 min of back and forth I said I cannot have this conversation at work. Then he sends me an email explaining that the overseeding and dethatching did not yield results because the lawn was not being watered (My water bill proves otherwise) and that the fertilization didn't work because we were on an organic plan when we needed to be on a chemical one. Then I started getting texts about the same thing. I have had it with this company. Not only were they incompetent in completing the job, they have been absolutely unprofessional and dishonest. I cannot believe how much time I have wasted trying to communicate with them. I don't want any one else to have to go through this and will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. read more

We hired revive your lawn to sod our back yard. We have a lot of shade , a couple of dogs, and a neighbor with lots of pine trees. Patrick came out to give us a quote ( which by the way was very reasonable) and he immediately knew by looking at our lawn what kind of sod would work and what would not. We had a little delay getting the work done with all of the rain that we had. Once the job was assigned, Mark, our crew chief did a great job keeping us updated on the progress of the job. Patty, in the office, did a great job calling me back if I had a question with scheduling. I will need more landscaping work done in the future, and I look forward to working with Revive your lawn again. read more

Please be careful when using this company. They billed me for services they claimed were done when it was clearly obvious to me that it was not (i.e. aeration and power raking). If you're going to hire them, just make sure you're there to see that they actually complete the work. I will never use their services again or recommend them to anyone. Especially since when I spoke with them about my concerns, they were very rude and condescending towards me. read more

Avoid them! Customer service is deplorable. Work is worse. They won't show up, the owner won't call you back, and when they finally show, they are late and they don't do 90% of the job contracted. When you try to get them back out to finish the work, it's a joke. The owner actually said to me: "that's business, what are you going to do..." Anyhow, when I finally gave up on them, and said i wanted my money back instead of trying to get them back out, I had to wait 5 weeks to get it back, while the guy kept telling me he was working on it. Then, when I finally got my "refund" it was less than 1/2 of the amount we agreed on as a refund, which wasn't even the full amount to begin with! read more

Patrick is awesome to work with. We've had them do a few separate sodding projects as well as fix some drainage issues. They work with our budget and help us brainstorm options to solve our needs. We recently scheduled them to do our lawn maintenance (aerating, spraying for weeds, etc) and we just called them to do some landscaping/gardening work. What an excellent job! The gentlemen that came to work on my yard first explained and double checked everything they were going to do while they were there. They also asked if it were okay to touch up some edging in my flower beds while I had some aerating done (even though it wasn't listed on my job contract). The guys were very polite and kind! I have had Revive your Lawn for two summers now & I have contracted with them for snow plowing this winter as well. I love the punctuality that this crew displays every Friday during the summer season for mowing. They are also courteous & friendly & efficient. Any detail I might bring to their attention is attended to promptly. For the occasional question I might have, either Jason, the foreman, or Patrick, the owner have been very responsive. They also do my neighbor's yard (which is how I found them) and have done plantings for them which look lovely all year round. Just a few days ago they came out for the first time to plow my driveway. My driveway is very large as it is circular with a straight section on the side. They came when I was at work. When I got home I was greeted with a beautifully plowed driveway, edge to edge. They even shoveled between my two parked cars.
