When researching different clubs, all the mega machines kept coming up but after a couple of tryouts with those clubs we were feeling a little unsure that we really wanted to allow our then 10 year old to give up bring a kid, and have to fork out thousands in club fees, uniform costs, and to top off crazy travel costs. We were lucky to find FC Batavia. From day one it was evident that all the coaches were concerned with not only attracting talented players who already had a lot of skill but also on continuing to develop these players. Coach Rick Tilmans and husbanding staff of coaches are the reason we will forever be Batavians! GO FCB!

Their rotating schedule of cleaning is not effective for the higher use courts (open play courts). The management has been effective in their marketing and events, but lack luster in balancing open play and reserved courts in high use hours. I like the locker room. YOU KNEW AND DIDN'T GO BUY SOAP AT COSTCO OR WALMART IN THE MEANTIME?! WTF! If you want to act like LA Fitness, change your name and drop your rates. If you want to be an elite gym, do a lot better. And I held off a long time before blasting Lifetime Scottsdale on here, so do better please.

As a 13 year member of Life Time Fitness North Scottsdale, I've seen plenty of management come and…read morego, but the current group fitness leadership is easily the worst. Several of my favorite instructors are no longer there, and when asked, I've been told "I don't know", which is concerning in itself. Management should absolutely know what's happening with the instructors they hire, and they do, they just lie to your face to keep the peace. Later, finding out it's due to "low participation," which is hard to believe when I've personally seen classes with far fewer members remain on the schedule much longer and even management-led classes with only 2-3 people continue without issue. The inconsistency is obvious. After more than a decade of loyalty, it's frustrating to watch what was once a strong, community-driven program be undermined by poor leadership and questionable decisions.

They make you sign the contract on a rush and after you pay 5k+ they tell your their rules. my daughter was o ln the lower level team and to be honest I think the director doesn't even care about those teams just the top teams. 13 girls for one team,two inexperienced twenty year old coaches,favoritism, when the team was loosing coaches were just sitting on the bench,some of the players were undisciplined and they didn't do anything to fix the problem and curiously the girls with Hispanic last name were the ones left behind sometimes they didn't even get to play a minute on a tournament day. My advice is if your daughter is a top player this club is probably the place to be but if you want your daughter to develop and improve you should use that amount for strength and conditioning and skills trainings she'll learn more doing that or take her to another club. My daughter was very exited entering at this club and she ended up not wanting to participate on the last tournament (450 dollars extra) which wasn't covered by the initial amount. I reached out to the director and she didn't take the time to have a meeting because she was "busy" traveling with a team instead she sent the same two coaches to talk to me and nothing changed.

Now she's 10, and the skills she's developed over the years have built her into a player comfortable playing with girls in 7th/8th grade. This investment in building up players from a young age shows a commitment to building strong players over the long-haul...and a true love for the sport. I don't know anyone in this club...and I don't kiss up. We simply aren't at the level where that would be helpful. Despite that, every single coach we have had has been impeccably skilled and developmentally on-point. This is coming from a 20+ year educator who has also been a varsity coach. Every coach here has honored my daughter as a person and attempted to cultivate her unrealized potential. She LOVES Rev. In sum, we drive 60+ minutes, each way, DURING RUSH HOUR, to participate in what Rev has to offer. We have tried clubs closer to home. The truth is that the quality of coaching and instruction at Rev is above-and-beyond anything else. Period. Additionally, I would drive 2 hours each way to avail my daughter of the positive peer culture and sense of 'team' cultivated by Rev. This place is the REAL DEAL.
