Shopping in Las Vegas, Nevada…read more.. My sister said that her friend recommended this store, so we went because I had been here many years ago with my Auntie Mary, but I didn't write a review. My Auntie had bought dried scallops here for her son... so thoughtful and generous of her, right? T & T Ginseng has more than just Ginseng. This shop carries candy, dried cooking ingredients (like mushrooms and red dates), medicine, sausage, hair dye, herbs, tea, instant coffee, and much more! Service was very helpful. The cashier asked if I wanted spicy sausage as I was checking out. I did not notice the tiny chili pepper next to the label... uhg... so, she got me regular flavored sausage! Wow! So efficient! There were so many types of merchandise in this clean, busy, sometimes crowded store! It was amazing to see things in the same place!

It's a small store that offers a wide selection of dried seafood, seeds, teas, coffee, Chinese herbs, spices, and more. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. We picked up their large sweet seeds (available both with and without seeds), some cuttlefish (regular and spicy), dried tako, and sunflower seeds. The seeds are especially flavorful and meaty. Most of their seeds and dried goods come packaged under the T&T Ginseng brand. If you're in Vegas and craving some quality sweet seeds or dried cuttlefish, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

They also offer a lot of fresh and frozen seafood. You can find a lot of groceries from all over the word here. They also sell some home decor, some kitchenware, and live bamboo plants and an assortment of Asian Pots and Asian Ceramics. This isn't a fancy place and also seems a bit worn. When you walk in you can the remains of a restaurant that is no longer in business. This place is great but- There is so much stuff that it is actually hard to find the things that you are looking for. I also didn't notice signs to direct you to particular countries or even continents. The biggest problem with shopping here are the very tight aisles. If you see someone with a cart there isn't enough room to go around them. Checking out can be challenging for some because it is like a maze with all kinds of things in your way so you have to figure it out. They also have a lot of merchandise that you don't see it until you are on the way out.

The tasting experience was very different than other tastings I have experienced. First we did a taste test of four different olive oil. We were supposed to rate them and try to explain the flavor of each one. I wasn't very good at this. Then we saw a series of slides and were educated about olive oil production, freshness, and flavor. We were served a variety of small bites that featured a different flavor of olive oil. The most shocking one was the vanilla ice cream topped with a fig balsamic vinegar! It was so good, & I never thought this would pair together. I don't like chickpeas, however, they served a dish that was drizzled with Harissa infused olive oil, mint, & cilantro which I found to be absolutely delicious! It was $45 for the tasting. It was a fun, interesting, & enjoyable experience. I purchase four bottles of oil before I left. I think they should have offered a small discount on immediate purchased for everyone who paid to be here this night. I would have bought more than 4 bottles if they did. Also, don't forget to purchase the bottle toppers that slow the pour of olive oil. I purchased my four bottles and then someone else told me about the toppers that slow the pour so you don't waste an excessive amount of oil. You can also recycle your Arbosana used bottles by bringing them back to them and they will give you a dollar off your next purchase. I I recommend you check this place out, and sign up for an olive oil tasting. Go with a friend and you'll have a great time.

WOW!!! Where to start!? My friend and I did an oil tasting…read moreevent here. Walking in it smelled so good. Like a 5 star restaurant cooking up something amazing. We were greeted by Derek who was such an amazing presenter walking us through so much olive information I never knew or thought of. It made sense but never thought of it. I also learned of health benefits i never knew olive oil had. Now im prob going to be drinking a tablespoon or shot of olive oil daily. Which will be easier with the amazing flavors they offer. Learned how to "slurp" oil. Who knew. There is a whole art to swirling and slurping much like wine tasting. We learned how they test the olives to get the best quality ones available. Also learned of Dereks adventures traveling the world to bring us, Vegas the BEST olive oil from all over the world. He made the class fun. I enjoyed it. We blind tasted 4 types of olive oils. Then had to guess which 3 were Arbosana's and which was from a grocery store. The first thing they brought out was a non alcoholic spritzer made with balsamic vinegar. It was so good! Then we had a salad that had a homemade olive oil and vinegar dressing on it with homemade croutons that used one of the oils. It was so good. I bought the oil and vinegar and HAD to open it as soon as I got home to have my husband try it. It's awesome! I'll definitely be having at salad every day at work with my food now! Im not going to lie, when they brought out chickpeas I was thinking to myself this one isnt going to be that great. To my surprise, I could have eaten plates and plates of it! I would have paid extra for another plate of it! All the flavors paired so well together. Now, it was on the spicy side to me at first, then Derrick recommended adding some strawberry balsamic vinegar to it. That sounded wild but after one bite I was hooked! Im going to be craving that now! Arbosana needs to create a cookbook or post the recipes somewhere. I was starting to realize no matter what you mix together it's going to be good. The variety of olive oil flavors they offer along with the variety of balsamic vinegar flavors mostly all pair together beautifully. There are a few i wouldnt mix with other things and would leave solo but the majority do pair well. Then there was the grilled cheese, mozzarella pearl and marscapone cheese. Those were all great! Again, id paid extra for a full grilled cheese sandwich or more of the marscapone cheese with some crackers. Then lastly, the ice cream. Ice cream with balsamic vinegar on it... wild right!? Who'd put balsamic vinegar on their ice cream? Apparently, now I do! Move over Hershey's syrup! There's a new topping in town! It was really good! Ill definitely be adding the lychee balsamic vinegar and expresso balsamic vinegar to my ice cream from now on! Such simple things but the addition of the vinegar or oil added so much flavor! After the class you can walk around and sample other flavors you may want to try. There is such a wide variety. Something for everyone! Do your tastebuds a favor and book an oil tasting or come try the different varieties of oils and vinegars they offer. I know ill probably be back soon to get other flavors to use in my day to day cooking. Shop small business! Stop buying your olive oil at grocery stores. It's not even good. This is some of the best olive oil you can buy. If that is something that matters to you, definitely check out the store or order it online. Would also make a great gift too!

Anyway, put on my crash helmet and Mario Andretti racing gloves and prepared to join the other racers and kamikaze's on the 215. Actually this morning wasn't too bad, only got blown off the road a few times by brain dead boogerheads going 90-100 mph to my safe sane 75. The store was reasonably crowded with an older population today. The aisles probably just meet the code with respect to width . Sometimes a challenge maneuvering especially since the end caps are usually packed with stuff. Made my way through buying a selection of veggies, fish and some meat. I appreciate the veggie selection since not all the produce is wrapped up making selection a bit more challenging. They like other markets will clean and fry ur fish if you desire. Good selection of pretty much everything Filipino on the shelves and freezers . You can also find some other Asian sauces and products , but this is market is almost 100% Filipino. I love the onsite bakery for pan d' sal and other goodies. Their version of grab and go is decent. For me the real plus is the hot line. So many choices... today we were just in a noodle frame of mind and got two large containers of pancit and palabok. Their lechón and pork and chicken bbq skewers are great as well. They also have a two for one breakfast special Made it to the check out line after dodging several "little old ladies from Pasadena " wannabes. My discount today was about ten dollars. Always a good shopping experience
