I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I had an overwhelmingly positive experience here. They were ready for me as soon as I walked in the door, and offered water and wine. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and attentive, no snobby aloof salon nonsense. The waxing itself was also quick and, importantly, hygienic. The table was cleaned and new paper put down. Gloves were hygienically handled and a new stick used with every swipe. She used hard wax (less painful than soft wax) and was VERY quick and efficient. I'm generally pretty squeamish and don't have a great pain tolerance but the whole process was honestly not that bad. She also paid a lot of attention to detail, no strays! I have been coming to rewaxation every month for 3 years. They offer repeat pricing for appointments booked within certain windows. I was traveling for a work trip and couldn't get in for my monthly wax until a week off cycle for their repeat pricing, and they refused to honor that. I understand a policy is a policy - but where is the human element, the customer service element? It's as if they'd rather me change my flight to get in than be generous enough to honor the $7 difference in fees. Wow this is one of the only times I wasn't in immense pain having my ears waxed. I'm terrible with names but the one who did it 4/11 at 4:45 was fantastic! She also recommended doing my nose. Years ago I had that done and said never again but I gave it a shot and it wasn't bad at all!! She also went the extra mile and removed a few blackheads I couldn't get out. Best place to get a quick & affordable Brazilian wax! Dani was done in literally 10 minutes and it was perfect, no irritation after. In terms of being covid cautious, they are taking full measures! They take your temperature, deeply sanitize in between clients, masks on during the whole appointment, sanitizers, a plastic shield in between you & your esthetician, and they text you when it's safely to come in. This was my go to place for ages. Suddenly today I'm making an appointment and they tell me that because of something that happened almost a year ago I have to have a credit card on file. I didn't have my wallet when I called. There was something about a missed appointment and I worked it out at the time and I don't want to be robotically told "it's policy; we just now caught it" after I've been a loyal customer for years. You just now caught it? You're talking to me like I'm a shoplifter or something. Forget this. If it was the last time , and the website wasn't so buggy, and I had not called and worked it out, and even tipped the person who was affected, I would understand. The place is a little bit mismanaged at the very top and that's OK, but I don't know, that was just an insult I didn't need on a busy and stressful day. So I came to this place after reading all the great reviews. I have a very odd tan line right in the middle of shins cause I wore 3/4 pants and got tanned that way, so it looks I'm wearing brown socks. So I came here to get a spray tan hoping it'll even out the tan so it won't look as hideous before my San Diego trip. I followed all the directions prior to the spray tan. My appt was with Melissa and I told her that I just want to even out my hideous tan so it won't look like I'm wearing brown socks. She said she got it. Seemed like she understood what I wanted. But after she was done spraying my brown socks was still very visible and she said the full colors wont show for about another 24 hours. So I believed her and just waited it out. However even after the 24 hours asides from other parts of my skin getting slightly darker, the tan didn't do anything for me. My hideous tan line was still visible as ever.
