I visited this location today. My 15 year old daughter passed out so we immediately took her up to…read morethe ER. While waiting in the lobby I called a loved one and she was praying for my daughter and I. The triage nurse calls my daughters name. We walk into the triage room. I'm standing there quiet, phone to my ear and the nurse tells my day to be weighed. She looks at me...and rudely says I can't be on my phone. I shake my head ok. We immediately sit in the chairs next to her desk. I hang up my call. Look at the nurse and say, it's been a lot today..can you just be kind, have compassion...my daughter passed out...I have surgery in less then 24 hrs. Tears are welling up. She says to me. Are you talking about me. I say yes. Please just be kind. She then says to me get out. Get up and get out. Demands I leave. Calls the security in to have me removed!!!! I ask to speak to a mgr...no one says a thing. Security tells me I got to go. Then tells me I can't be in there with my daughter to which I immediately tell him he is wrong. My daughter is under age. I then ask for a mgr. He goes to get one but another nurse calls my daughter. I speak to a mgr when things calm. She basically tells me the nurse was asking me to wait outside so someone else could help me.....not cool. I will be filing multiple complaints to make sure Lisa the triage nurse understands how NOT to act when people are in need. Not ok. I honestly don't know if I will be back. I'll more than likely drive far for better care. 100% believe it was fueled by racism!!!

TRIAGE again 9:20 P.M we just checking to see if you're still here in EXCRUCIATING unexplained backPAIN... that's gotten worse 10:37P.M. exam rm 11:10 P.M. young nurse stops by to admire my nails, sneakers & cell case [bling] 12.a.m. still -NOTHING! PAIN has eased from 8 to 10. Apparently, there is no staff...to Meer the demand of the 7 who were ahead of me. (Jisrcan observation)....Shifts have changed. Many are sitting at computers...and me im.now passed vested-So I wait. Never to return. WORSE ED experience ever.......

Relocating from the Midwest and searching for a great practice was difficult till I happened to get referred by a past colleague of mine. I have gone to this same office for over 5 years and have never once had a bad experience... I don't find that a coincidence or that I'm one of the lucky few. I've been seeing Amanda for years and can't express how incredible her bedside manner is. She's beyond empathetic and listens without rushing you or making you feel anyway but important. My health in all areas has improved since seeing her and the lovely staff. Never a billing complaint, nor any other complaint, EVER! The staff is warm, kind, and most of all professional-which is the icing on the cake. I understand there are "unforeseen occurrences" or occasional "mishaps" in any business, but to say anything BUT positive things about Avance Care seems to be more of a personality flaw and/or "waking up on the wrong side of the bed" matter than anything else. This will always be my family's and my primary care practice... once you make an appointment - you'll see first hand why this practice has been open for so long. I just wish I had done a review years ago... but I hate doing reviews... but that'll have to change as most people don't submit a review unless they have a beef... and that's a TRUE shame! I was early for my appointment and then I was late being seen. They then put me in a room in the back for a long time and I only talked to the doctor a few minutes. I was there over an hour 4 or 5-minute visit.

The staff is kind, Dr Woodbridge has a very dry sense of humor but he knows what he is doing. He was previously in Virginia working, and i moved from there. I had of the best healthcare in that state. So I went. I have an autoimmune system disease and he is extremely knowledgeable about it. He has no issue working with my Rheumy in Virginia. He is a great Dr and you are surely missing out on a great healthcare professional if you dont see him.

Excellent care and completely resolved. All staff/doctors friendly, professional, knowledgable in all the offices I have used... Edwards Mill, Garner and Cary. The only think I have about this... good doctors are in demand. And these doctors are great. So if there is a day the office gets behind, I am willing to wait for the best care I can find. FYI... I was in the Garner office today for a new issue and did not even have time to check my phone for email before I was called in. The older I get, the happier I am to have Raleigh Ortho to keep me going! (BTW... do you think a Pro hockey team like the Hurricanes wouldn't pick the best???)

I never write reviews but I am now, I broke my wrist in April, never had a broken bone before, 3…read moresurgeries later, still not healed, because I wasn't heard when i kept repeating something is wrong, only when i suggested an mri and that the dr stop for a minute and examine was i heard 4 months in at this point, but even before then, I kept saying something isnt right with the thumb then discovered tendon ruptured, surgery for that but still side of wrist off, really painful, so hence finally heard, mri, bone was healing incorrectly, had to rebreak, repair tendon sheath, etc. and i went to post op visit, waited for one hour and 10 min, no dr seen and noone checking on me, i abruptly left, so now post op visit 2 months out and wrist still not right, cant change drs now because of ins. it is unacceptable, and Im not a go to dr person at all, nothing overly expected except for proper care, proper listening , thats all, I was a person that worked out, active and this has been awful, I feel this is a place that they want to see as many folks a day as possible, even if it means they lose a few, i feel cheated for sure.

Garner Office: I have been taking my daughter here since she…read morewas born almost three years ago. Dr. Hedgepeth is amazing! I always make sure to ask for him because he has such a nice demeanor with both my daughter and me. He is knowledgeable, great at explaining things to me in a way I understand, wonderful with my daughter, and kind enough to offer me unsolicited words of encouragement about my parenting. (as a single mom with no other person contributing to the care of my daughter, that means a lot because I have nobody to make decisions with, bounce ideas off of, or to reassure me that my decisions are sound) The staff has also been very good at communicating with me and getting me scheduled in a reasonable time frame. Recently, when I needed a same day appointment, Dr. Hedgepeth was not available so we had to see Dr. Britt instead. It was the first time we didn't get scheduled with Dr. Hedgepeth. I was disappointed and worried that this other person wouldn't be as good. But Dr. Britt was also quite wonderful! If I ever leave NC, this will be one of the few medical offices that I will greatly miss.
