Very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all! To the receptionist, please send me a link for the physician's health portal. I need to request medication. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Crockett for the last couple of years, and until now we have been…read morevery pleased with the care she has received. Dr. Crockett performed her hysterectomy, and the surgery and recovery went exceptionally well with minimal scarring. Recently, my wife went in for a routine checkup where a transvaginal ultrasound revealed a 1 cm cyst. As a precaution, blood work was ordered, including an OVA1 test to help assess the likelihood that the cyst could be cancerous. The test was completed nearly two months ago, yet we still have not received the results. Two weeks ago, the office contacted my wife and stated they were still waiting for the lab results and would follow up. After hearing nothing further, they called again today with essentially the same response, saying they were unsure what happened to the results and would be contacting the lab. This is extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. An OVA1 test is not routine blood work. It is ordered to help assess the risk of ovarian cancer, making timely communication and follow-up critical. If the results were missing or delayed, that should have been investigated immediately, not weeks later. We understand that errors can occur, but the lack of urgency, communication, and accountability surrounding this situation has significantly diminished our confidence in the process. We have always appreciated the care provided by Dr. Crockett, which makes this experience all the more frustrating. We simply expected a much higher level of follow-through for a test involving a potentially serious medical concern.

If you have an attitude with people in the office don't be upset when people have an attitude back with you. I had my appointment rescheduled multiple times over the last 6 months with a doctor who is now accusing me of publicly bashing HER online when I've made no comments about her or who she even is, just for her staff to call me and accuse me assault and violence when I put a clipboard down on their desk and walked away. When I asked them about why I hadn't been called back after nearly 30 minutes passed from my appointment time, they had an attitude about "not rushing the provider" while telling me I had to continue to waste my day at an office when I showed up on time for my appointment. Unprofessional from both the staff and the provider to accuse someone of assault and violent behavior when that is not what happened. Don't come unless you want to be accused of a crime by the office manager and the front desk staff for giving them the same attitude they gave you to begin with.

I had several illnesses and procedures, 2 C-Sections, and always had professional care. Once, Dr. Akright stayed at the lab until 8:30pm to get my lab report, as he knew I was worried. He called me right away that night, instead of waiting until the next day to tell me the information. I think all offices have had issues with employees, especially since CoVid. Times are tough and we all need to have patience and kindness. Thanks NEOBGYN for everything you've done for me. Vicky Lambert Schafer

At one point she made a recommendation to take a new hormone and when asked what the hormone was for refused to answer and then changed her recommendation to no hormones when I requested for her to explain a) what led her to disagree with her colleague's prior finding, b) what the recommended hormone was intended to achieve, and c) what would help address the actual concerns I was there for. When asked about the change in recommendation, she them repeatedly referenced my having complex medical history as a reason to not actually discuss concerns. It is a basic responsibility of medical professionals to be able to have an actual clinical rationale for their decisions about diagnosis and treatment AND to provide risks and benefits of completing any recommended treatments directly to patients. She refused to do either, perhaps because she could not which raises concerns of basic medical competence. I do not recommend this doctor, especially if you have any medical complexity or like to actually discuss your concerns or her clinical decision making.
