Derek said my husband probably did it... called home warranty company to replace garage door opener and upon inspection it was pointed out all of the errors of my garage door installation... the railings were not even , brackets on bottom where garage closes was not installed, rails were upside down.. where there should have been 4 screws only 2 was used to secure brackets at top... on the single door insulation there were no stuts installed at all!!... I had to hire another garage door company to correct what Calhouns didn't do ...when I called Derek he was very defensive and belligerent.. and blamed the other company of just trying to make money... accountability and professionalism are definitely out the door with this company!!!!!

Originally I was quoted $125 for the part and $125 for labor, so a total of $250. But once he dropped the motor the garage door wouldn't open. He called Craftsmen (the maker of the garage opener I had). Well after 45 minutes of being on hold with Craftsmen the technician decided I needed a brand new garage opener. So my price went from $250 to $323 and some change. I lost my keypad to get in the garage (mind you this is my mom's house). I really feel like I got the short end of the stick on this one.
