I asked, is there any possible way it can be repaired? Can it be straightened out? He seemed earnest and honest, he did. But he said no it will come off the rollers every time. Maybe he really thought that. I had a second company come out. "Can't repair it." I invited them to send a bid - they never did. Third company was Overhead Door. From beginning to end a completely different experience. First, a very capable and friendly receptionist immediately connected me to Kelly who listened carefully to the issue. He himself came out the next day. After much discussion, he offered for their company to take a look at it and see if it could be repaired, which was a surprise to me since both other companies had told me it wasn't possible. If it couldn't be repaired, Overhead would apply the work cost to the the cost of a new door. Sounded like a good plan to me. So today the service tech came out. He FIXED IT. He braced it and repaired the rollers and it is as good as new. You can be sure when it comes time for me to buy a new door in a few years (and now I know how much to save) that I will ABSOLUTELY use Overhead Door because of their honesty, integrity, and not just trying to sell me a new door.
