I am a realestate investor and and am a very capable person at that. But I cant do all of the things I need done simply because of time so I find myself hiring out most things the days. With that said I'm not an easy mark. So one of my tenants had a garage door issue which was one of the two lift springs had broken on her at 11pm. She sent me a text that night but my phone was silenced till 6 am. I text her at 6am, she said she had contacted a garage door company and made an appointment. I thought "at 11 pm?". As I was driving to the house that morning she text and said they'll be here in 35 min. A name that starts with Pre and ends in cisionI, kinda like Bad De cision. Hmm. But I thought ok, lets see how it goes. When I arrived the guy was already there and in the house. I text my tenant, she came out to let me in and we walk to the garage where met the worker. Ugh, Tatoos and spike / in ear piercings. Gr8, just the kinda specimen we all want showing up at our house right? WRONG! So we begin a brief dialog about the door. He immediately in a smart arss demeanor says "You need a whole new garage door!" And Its going to cost $2000.00. I replied "what makes you say that?". He says " look at it" and starts "Making Sh*t Up". When I challenge his statements he had a look like "he buddy I'm a high school drop out with tatoos and piercings! Your supposed to be a sheep that I'm here to shear!" Then very few other words and I said " OK, We're don here, You are Dismissed". He acted like this has happens to him before, probably recently, as in this week, more than once. What an Ice Whole! I started calling around, Lots of "Well we really need to look at it so lets set an appointment"replies. So I understand that a lot of homeowners dont know which end of a screw driver to use but that aint me. I then hit on Tolbert Garage Door Repair! Talked to the dispatcher, described my issue she passed me on to a managerial tech "Taron" who listened, understood, and said It sounds like your calling it pretty correct and if thats what it turns out to be it sounds like $550 for replacing both lift springs, a 16 ft brace, including installation and a general tune up. You know how to feels when you are talking to someone and it just feels right? I said come on. He's there! The same guy! Clean cut, Super Nice, Friendly Guy! He has the parts, the tools and the know how! Before you know it, He's Done! And the Price? JUST LIKE HE SAID!!! $550!!! What? My Tenant is happy! Paid w CC on the spot! I'm done! I'm happy! I Immediately added this company to my Contacts List as have have several other proprerties! This is the Company you need to call if your looking for straight talk and clean business. Maybe you'll get Lucky and get Taron that comes out as the Tech! Why doesn't every company doe business like this! They Should! read more

Tolbert Garage Door is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Although I neglected to get the name of the person that I talked to, he was very accommodating with getting my needs met that same day. I was told I was 14th on the list of jobs to be completed, they arrived to replace a broken spring within 6 hours of my call for repairs. Angel and Elliott were the technicians that came to do the repairs. They were very professional and efficient completing the needed repair ... and quick, they drove away about 30 minutes after arriving. Within an hour Taron was at my home and discussing to me the estimate for the whole installation of my garage door, garage opener.
