He went out of his way to work with my wife and she passed her test on the 2nd attempt. If Mr. Castillo can teach my wife how to drive safely, and pass the test, he can teach anyone. When we were on the road, Mr. Santos was vigilant at all times so that I felt safe even when making those inevitable learning mistakes. He devoted extra time to techniques to help me overcome some physical impediments. I have seen him teach other students--both adult and teen. He truly believes in his students and has a positive "You Can Do It!" attitude. It is because of Mr. Santos that I can drive independently now, and I recommend him highly!

Then the cops don't do anything except hand out traffic tickets to guys while trying to groom the females that commit the same offense. All the while parking is AWFUL. Can not find a parking spot anywhere so good luck trying to get to campus on time. Also, when you do actually manage to get to class on time the professors are so lazy with grades and don't feel like responding to you when questions are graded wrong. Plus the busses that actually do transport people from parking spots are PACKED! Its like a sardine can and make the people in India afraid of how crammed they are. All UTSA cares about is money and treat you like a number.

The actual school was good and the classes began and ended timely…read more The curriculum is confusing. It states that once the teen obtains a driving a permit, they are then able to drive. This is not so true. The teens obtain their permits within the first week of the 3 week course. There after, there is only class time and they teens are not allowed to drive during this time. The driving is scheduled after the three week class course is over. This means, the driving school can take months to complete. To be able to set up any driving times, you have to pay a fee on top of the already paid for class time, even if you paid for class and drive. The drive times are scheduled on line on Monday's and it's first come first serve without a lot of offered times. The teen needs to complete 7 drive times to complete the course and drive days are not allowed back to back. Oh, and don't get your drive time incorrect because then there is yet another $35 fee charged if you happen to miss the time. The owner, or main instructor of this place is not so nice either. When I called to inquire about a drive time, he was very rude and extremely defensive. He did not even answer the call to the business in a professional way. I have not had a good experience with this place and would not recommend them to any other teen needing to complete their driver's course.

At first this place was great. The infant and under 2 classes are full of caring teachers. However,…read moreI've started to notice that as my child is getting older there is much less care than the first 2 years. They are constantly switching out teachers who clearly do not want to be there. Most of them just seem tired and not all of them are bad, but my son is showing signs that the enviornment is not safe for him. Specifically one teacher I've noticed, who has even said extremely questionable to me personally. He seems terrified when she's the only teacher in the classroom and I've had it. When my first issue came up, I expressed my concern to the front desk, again not all bad, they seemed more defensive and dismissive than concerned. The only offer was from the director of "making more classroom check-ins" (I've never seen it.) My advice, especially if you're paying full tuition, if you have a 2+ year old probably look elsewhere. It's not worth the money or you or your child's wellbeing. They're tired and overloaded with too many kids. I like a lot of the teachers, but anyone would collapse in that kind of situation. Redirection isn't possible with that kind of overwhelm. Sad to see this is how it ended but glad my child can recognize, understand, and let me know that he does not feel safe in an environment.

I enrolled my now 1.5 year old into their swim program(she started when she maybe 8 months old?) just so she can be comfortable being in the water and know how to survive essentially and she loves it (for the most part haha) We go every once a week to bring more awareness to water and learn to be safe around any sort of body of water! Scheduling is super easy and the staff there is ALWAYS amazing and helpful! I enjoy seeing the usual people there always positive and joyful always! - shout out to Dylan, Julia, Isabella, Eduardo and Brooke for being Lily's usual rotation of instructors to keep things pretty consistent for her! We love Aqua Tots! I can only hope for one day that my son will cave in and join in on the fun of learning how to swim as well!
