After a series of house-related traumas, a major plumbing incident left us with well over a dozen large holes and cutouts in the drywall across several rooms - on walls, ceilings, in cabinets, under the kitchen sink, over the hot water heater, you name it --caused by plumbers trying to locate hidden pipes and manifolds. After so many things going wrong and overwhelming surprises, we felt shell-shocked and uncertain about how to restore our home to a livable condition. Because the repairs would need to be paid out of pocket rather than covered by insurance, it added an extra layer of stress and despair to the entire situation. I was referred to this company by a friend and had high hopes for a simple paint job. I set up an appointment with Jason and arranged to come home early from work to make this work. He didn't show up and emailed an hour later with an apology. Next, he shared that he could do an estimate with pictures and dimensions, so I sent him this information. He never replied to the email. Reynolds Painting is all pro. Jason and Elizabeth did an excellent job refinishing our kitchen cabinets and painting the kitchen light box, ceiling, and walls. Everything looks brand new. They gave us a fair estimate and the project was delivered on time and on budget, as promised. We really appreciated that they were very respectful of our space and arrived as scheduled each day wearing masks and they cleaned up their workspace every evening before leaving. Jason brought us a sample of a completed cabinet door to show us how the finish would look before starting the project and provided a fan deck of colors and painted swatches to help us select coordinating paint colors for the ceiling and walls. They removed the cabinet doors for cleaning, sanding, and finishing in their shop and completely masked off our kitchen and appliances with vinyl drop cloths, masked cabinet boxes, floors, and counters, and used a window fan for proper ventilation. The final day of the project, they installed the cabinet doors and hardware and finished midday, ahead of schedule. We are very pleased with their work and will definitely use Reynolds for future painting projects. read more

Jason painted the exterior of my home in Davis last week. I cannot believe what a fantastic job he did. My neighbors have commented how wonderful my home looks after his expert care. Jason gave me an accurate estimate which was very reasonable considering the high quality of paint and caulking that he used. What I liked most is that he is a one-man operation because he takes such personal pride in the quality of work he performs. The entire job took four days, but the final quality was so much better than what I've seen when a lot of workers come in and power through a paint job.
