Fortunately, I had a photo of the item, which helped them eventually locate it. Still, the incident was unsettling. While the staff and service quality is good, the overall lack of order makes me hesitant to bring anything more valuable in for repair. The service was initially good. They informed me that my boots would be ready in a week. However, they had to wait for the paint to arrive, which took about a month. I brought in another pair, hoping it would be done in a few days, but it took the same amount of time as my first pair. At one point, I felt like they had lost or misplaced my boots because they told me they were ready but couldn't find them. After chatting with them, I visited the following week and finally got my boots. I loved the boots,and appreciated the great work. However, the organization and lack of communication were the main issues for me throughout the process. I understand that they were in the process of expanding their businesses in the same business lot, which must have been hectic for them. The pricing was good and affordable. Just be consistent with them and always follow up. Otherwise, you might not hear from them until you physically go in person or contact them. I dropped off my blue suede boots almost two years ago and I barely got them back today. This is what happens when you give a local business the benefit of the doubt. My boots needed new heels so after reading the reviews I decided to give them a chance. Well needless to say the heels are not perfect and they gave them back to me dirtier than dirt. I told the owner I didn't leave them like that so he asked me for another day to clean them up a bit but they were still dirty for the most part from handling with dirty hands. I was disappointed but I wanted to get my boots back and I took them as given to me. I really thought that they were going to do a better job and in a quick turnaround since it was only the heels that needed redoing. Some people might get their shoes and boots quicker but I sure didn't. I don't know if I could trust taking anything else to them after this issue. read more

Rey does excellent craftsmanship! He repaired two pairs of shoes, giving me many more miles of service. He also stitched in a grommeted loop for keys inside a leather pack I use to carry most everything. Stitching the loop in was a special request & it has worked perfectly, holding an electronic key very securely, and now being easy to clip on and remove. I had to reschedule the promised delivery date by two days because Rey had not completed the shoe repair yet. He came through on the later date with no problem. I didn't care about waiting a slightly longer time than 1st promised to get the superior craftsmanship that Rey performs. I read a LOT of shoe and leather repair reviews and Rey had more 5-star reviews than anybody else I could find- without any complaints! I drove about 15-20 miles to get to his shop. It was worth it! Don't bother going to this place, there are not organize there's boots, shoes and boxes everywhere. I Had a bad experience with them they took about 3 weeks just to get my boots. They told me they'll be done in a couple days so I go back days later to find out they lost my boots. They found them, two days later but still they didn't work on them. Went back again and this is the 3rd week still they didn't touch them and ask me to come tomorrow, wish I did, and got to find out they lost one of the inside boot sole and ask me if I wanted then polished I told him I thought you were going to seen you had them this long. Won't go back again or won't recommend this place. read more

They do great work and on time, dropped off 2 pairs .I had the 1 st pair of boots that were to tight so they made them wide and a little longer for me .2nd pair were really dirty so they conditioned them I will be back to get my boots re conditioned They don't have a card machine so make sure you bring Cash when you pick up your boots read more

I will never take anything for these people to fix. They messed up a good pair of faux leather boots. I took them in so they could put a rubber heel and sole which they did. But then they sprayed them with something to "protect them" he said. The faux leather bubbled and curled. I cannot wear them. I have to throw them away. They would not return my money $28. or try somehow to make things right. I do not recommend this shop. read more
