I was told on my 2nd visit that he cannot find a reason for my symptoms and they didn't appear to be rheumatology related. I was dismissed from the appointment with "follow-up as needed." There was no attempt to offer additional care or referral to someone else who may be able to find the cause/offer treatment for the symptoms. I would have seen a different doctor had I known I would be dismissed if the cause could not be determined by the 2nd visit.

Cut me off from talking, and then repeatedly acted like I was a "bad" patient because I misunderstood how the 1 inhaler worked (I thought it was a second rescue inhaler instead of a symptom controller). Her exact words were "we in healthcare just make the worst patients- or maybe that's just me!" Insert eye roll here. Every other medication was taken as prescribed when prescribed. But I am a bad patient. They also neglected to include the work note I requested, then when I called they offered to MAIL it to me, or I could, mid-asthma exacerbation, drive back to the practice and pick it up. I asked if they could email it since I am alone, they said they couldn't. So I let loose with a stream of language that wasn't appropriate, but I don't feel bad about it. Stay far away from this practice!!!

Not sure who Lone Star thinks they are trying to fool, but I have been getting these ED&Cs regularly for over 20 years and have had multiple procedures done all during the same office visit. Not sure what makes his process so different from all the other dermatologists I have seen, but I don't have the time to show up to three different appointments, for him to perform a 20 minute procedure at each one. Nor do I want to pay co-pays for 3 separate office visits. I feel his business practices aren't totally above board.

Had to get an IV due to feeling super dehydrated in this Texas heat. I'm visiting from Oklahoma,…read moreand was not prepared for this heat wave. Luckily, there was a walk-in IV place nearby. Can't really say anything negative except I did feel rushed towards the end since they were about to close in 15mins. They had to use a pressure bag to force the drip to get into my system faster which raised my anxiety since I no longer felt relaxed. Otherwise, I did feel better and everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The nurse who did my IV also got the needle in, in one prick so, 5/5 for that.
