I spoke to Bo who was very polite and professional, took all the information and told me he would call me when they knew what the issues were. When they called me back later they informed me to fix the steering wheel would be a big job and I would have to come back for that but would do the other stuff for me. I needed better front tires, had my oil changed, they filled and checked the fluids, changed the wiper blades, replaced the brakes and rotors and did a tune up. They were very reasonably priced and were extremely honest, kind, polite and professional. I was extremely pleased. I brought the car back on Sept 11, to have the steering wheel fixed and they did a stellar job. Once again, these guys are phenomenal at what they do and are so, so kind and just really nice, so polite and professional. My car drove like a dream and made it home with no issues. On Saturday Sept 12, my daughters went to go from our home to shopping and when they stopped to get gas they heard a clinking sound and then the car started to make a scraping sound. My daughter freaked out and brought the car home. I called Sparx and spoke to Joseph and sent him a video with sound of the noise and he diagnosed it and told me to bring it in and said it was an easy fix. I brought it in and they fixed it within 30 minutes. No charge, no hassles, no worries just a bunch of great guys who do the best mechanic work I have found in years. They are very reasonably priced and when they give you a quote they hold to it. Imagine that??? I would give Bo, Joesph and the whole crew at Sparx Automotive located in Sherman Texas ten stars, maybe 20 ok 100. Honestly, I have not met an automotive place that has such honesty, integrity, fair prices, knowledge, politeness and just great bunch of guys in over 40 years. Yes guys I am an older person and a veteran and I hope you take this review seriously. I have lost thousands of dollars to bad mechanics over the years. The owner is super nice and doesn't take advantage of people who are already in a bad spot with their vehicle. He's only gonna charge you for what really needs to be done. He's has a drop box so you can leave your car in the evening and drop your keys in his drop box. That's way it doesn't get in the way of work hours for you. When I start it it bogs down and dies and anytime I put gas in the car it will not start, I have to sit at the pump with my foot to the floor for about 3 minutes before it will stay running. I never got a call back with an estimate went to pick it up and SURPRISE its $475. I would not have invested that much money in the car had I know it would have been that much. THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE REPLACED (replaced them a year ago if that they were perfectly good!) And on top of all this he didn't even fix the problem I took it in for! I went back to talk to them about it and also inquired about the spark plugs. He said well I wish you had told me you just replaced them..... UMMM so you just replaced them for the hell of it?? I left the car thinking they would make it right and fix the problem. I went two days with no call; I called to see what was going on and an employee told me what the problem was and it was going to be another $150 and asked me if I would like them to go ahead and replace it. I said I wanted to talk to the owner. Owner finally calls back and proceeded to tell me he didn't know if that would fix the problem or not. WTF!!! You were down and ready to charge me another $150 and you weren't even sure if that was what was wrong with it?!?!?! This was absolutely the worst experience and I will NEVER go back to them or recommend anyone use them. I was taken advantage of and feel like this man is nothing short of a crook!

He knew I was on a road trip and had no other choice so he installed a piece of garbage in my car. 1 year later the same miserable experience happened again and I looked like a fool when the Toyota dealership I had the 4Runner towed to showed me the sticker on the alternator that said it was rebuilt in Mexico. Roberto made me look and feel like a chump for taking him at his word. And he smiled to my face and talked about family while he was ripping me off. What an absolute scumbag.
