It's too bad Mr. P. and Ray C. had such poor experiences, but I'm willing to bet their attitudes and skills didn't line up with Randstad's high expectations. I've been with Randstad for about a year and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I sent them my resume on the advice of a friend, and by the time I met with them - the next day - everyone in the office had seen it and was keeping me in mind as opportunities opened up. My meeting/interview was great - it was clear they were interested in setting me up with something. They didn't require me to take any tests, perhaps because of the strength of my resume and interview. (It seems that's something they ask of people who aren't strong candidates.) While I was chatting with my representative at the office, another staff member popped in and asked me if I was interested in a position he'd just learned about - in fact, he was on his way back from meeting with the company's managers. It sounded interesting, so I said sure. Within two days I was interviewing with that corporation, and I started there a few days later. Since signing on with Randstad, I've been placed in 3 positions. I've enjoyed each one. I've never had to worry that I'll be unemployed - each time an assignment ended, I was set up with a new one within a few days. Randstad's staff work together to match temps with great positions, so I don't have to hunt down my rep each time I have a question - I can talk to anyone in the office because they all know my name, skills, and assignment. I'm paid well, I'm paid on time, and I'm confident that if I ever need anything the Randstad staff will help me and advocate for me. Currently, I'm working in a non-profit office, in an organization I respect, with people I really enjoy. I'm expecting a permanent position offer shortly - thanks to Randstad's work on my behalf. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Not to mention how quick the process was! They actually invested interest in who I was and what job would fit me, unlike other companies I have tried. They also check in, send helpful reminders, and ask how the job is going once your placed. The staff there has always been helpful. Whenever I have a question or concern I always find the help I need. I get a response back the same day, and my problem addressed immediately. Out of the many hiring companies I have applied at, City Personnel is the most professional.

The office itself is located within a refurbished factory. you have to do quite a bit of walking once you get into the building as it is on the 2nd floor and the hallways are long and winding. great if you use a step counter but bad if you have mobility issues and/or have adaptive equipment. be sure to let them know in advance if you have trouble with stairs/walking long distances as the facility doesn't have public elevators. they'll make appropriation for you though as needed. They have some parking spots within close proximity to the building. the building is bus line accessible and is ride sharing friendly. Also, make sure you bring all the appropriate documents they requested prior to your first office visit so it eliminate multiple trips. I found the staff to be very professional and prompt. You'll be aligned great opportunities if you put forth the effort. My only criticism is that the career consultants could be a bit disorganized with the on boarding paperwork but that's to be expected when your mass hiring.

Since at the time I was still unemployed and I had nothing to do, I figured I'd give it a shot. I went down the the place, I filled out the paper work, and I noticed right away I pretty much was a zero match for any of the jobs or skills they were asking for. I have never done accounting, payroll, or anything administrative so I was a bit suspicious. I met the guy one on one and he was as polite as he could be, assured me he was able to find work for any client he had regardless of skills, and still insinuated I was a good match. I walked out of the interview feeling good, I even read reviews about this place on Google and most were positive. (although now I know some companies have fake positive reviews posted to make them look good). I never heard from him again. He wasted my time and I wasted my gas. Trust me when I say this that temp agencies most times are not worth anyone's time and that people would be better off doing internships if they need work experience. Recruiters make money based on how many people they can get to come down to their office and get a percentages of what that person makes from their assignments. I'll bet this guy was desperate for people and I took the bait. I'm sure for the people who are good matches for the jobs at this temp agency, they could have some success. But my advice to recruiters is to not waste people's time if they know ahead a time they aren't matched for any of their jobs. Don't have people come down to the office to fill out paper work UNTIL they get an assignment!

The lack of communication is beyond horrible . Contract ends they dont assist with finding you a new "assignment" . If you have a problem w an employer they tell u reach out and theylll help - funniest thing ever ! Even the management is poor . Ask for a meeting and she looks at the wall the whole time so unprofessional, not to mention rude as hell . Never again !

Kerry consistently prioritized the paying company over the well-being and fair treatment of the employees they placed. Communication regarding job stability and compensation remained unclear despite multiple inquiries. Even basic administrative requests became unnecessary challenges, including--but not limited to--requests for paystubs. Overall, I did not feel adequately supported. In my opinion loyalty and clear communication is not Kerry's strong traits. I would strongly advise others to carefully consider their options before leaving a long-term role to work with this agency.
