My beef is with the billing department. I was billed an additional $40 copay over and above the $35 I paid at the time of service. Despite about three or four phone calls to AD to deal with the overcharge (I first confirmed with my insurance company that it was, indeed, not a valid charge) I continue to get monthly bills. If I want to talk to a human I must submit to the "phone tree" and hold and, in the end, to no effect. The paper bills and threats to send me to collection continue to appear in the mail box. I would bet my credit score is better than anyone in that doctor's office-including the doctor :^) and I don't appreciate being harassed with these bills.

I just came back from a facial with Carmen, who works with Dr. Evans. Her technique and room is kept neat and clean. I felt nurtured and relaxed from my treatment. I believe she has been in this line of work for 35 years. It was nice that throughout the facial she asked if I was comfortable. Even before looking at the affected area, he wanted to do a whole body check - to be thorough. He had a hunch of what the issue was, took a swab and came back 15 minutes later. I was a bit shocked and impressed when he said he looked at the sample under the microscope and had diagnosed me and was able to point to the evidence all while I waited! It turns out I have psoriasis and have had it for over 10 years. Previous doctors completely missed this and some even misdiagnosed me. I was delighted when he gave me information to read, sample medication and helpful tips on how to cope with the symptoms. This will be a page turner…read more First a synopsis: My first visit to this hospital, to see a patient. Everything I encountered left me impressed! Over the course of several decades; I visited dozens of people, in almost as many Hospitals. So I can confidently write this review based on actual experience and not emotion. From the moment you arrive on the property you'll notice it's well laid out in a logical and convenient manner for visitors, usually family, who are already stressed. There's plenty of free parking near the several entrances. The Security Dept personnel are extremely courteous, professional, and reassuring; explaining procedures and giving directions to the various locations, in a very pleasant manner. The staff at the Nurse's Station acknowledge you when you arrive. Unlike many places, where you could stand there indefinitely while they stare at their computer monitors; without the slightest inkling of proper guest relations. IF, it was the other way around I'm certain these same people would be raging "Karen's"! The food service Dept. delivers meals that are on par with a four star hotel restaurant . There are actual ceramic dishes, no plastic plates or styrofoam glasses, knives and forks like a real restaurant, again no plastic sporks. The tray is artistically set, as opposed to haphazardly arranged. They realize that when you are in the hospital, there's not much else to do; so food is one of those things you can actually look forward to and enjoy. So, after a few visits; I can say everyone I've encountered has been exceptionally professional, helpful, and courteous. It's reflected in the quality of care they provide in every aspect of the Hospital's operation.
