Dr. Chris Funderburk himself has been a pleasure and has done great work for me. This review is not about him--he gets 5 stars. I came in for my first laser facial with Nurse Tara Adashev on 2/17/2026 using the Lutronic Ultra system. I had generally great skin but wanted to improve some minor childhood acne scarring and a separate surgical scar. The procedure went well, and I was instructed to stay out of the sun for 7 days before returning to my normal routine. I followed those instructions and had no issues. Three months later, I returned for a second treatment. I was told it would be the same Lutronic Ultra treatment but on a higher setting. Before the procedure, numbing cream was applied to my face and neck. It is supposed to remain on for at least 30 minutes, but Nurse Tara came in after only about 20 minutes and wanted to begin. I told her my face was still not numb and that I wanted to wait longer. She insisted I would be fine and started anyway. The procedure was extremely painful, and I spent much of it squirming with tears running down my face. Afterward, I texted Office Manager Becca Feldman to ask how long I should avoid sun exposure. She told me 7 days. Assuming the post-care instructions were the same as my first treatment, I followed that advice. After 7 days, I went outside wearing SPF 70 sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. That turned out to be a major mistake. I developed severe burning and hyperpigmentation across my face, particularly on my cheeks and forehead. Even worse, the treatment left two visible scars on my neck and one on my face near my left temple. After several weeks with no improvement, I contacted the office. Rather than showing concern, I was told by Nurse Tara that I should have avoided the sun for 2 weeks, not 1 week, despite having been instructed otherwise by Becca Feldman via text. I received no apology for the incorrect post-care instructions or for the scars that resulted. I was also informed that I had not received the Lutronic Ultra treatment I requested. Instead, I was told a more powerful CO2 laser had been used. The day before this procedure, my skin was nearly flawless with an even complexion. Now I am dealing with severe hyperpigmentation and permanent facial and neck scarring. After spending nearly $30,000 at this clinic over time, I requested a refund for this treatment and was denied. What has been most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability. No apology from Office Manager Becca Feldman for providing incorrect post-care instructions. No apology from Nurse Tara Adashev. No apology from anyone at the practice. Instead, they kept the more than $1,500 I paid and offered a prescription for skin-bleaching cream to address the damage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice for laser treatments. The inconsistent post-care instructions, lack of communication, and refusal to take responsibility for a poor outcome have been deeply disappointing. Anyone considering laser procedures here should proceed with extreme caution.

My…read morefirst appointment was absolutely wonderful and couldn't have asked for a better consultation. The consultation was so great that I ended up getting surfaces the same day. I ended up getting lip fillers, fillings by my crows feet, tattoo removal and micro-blading. I'll list each one for those patients interested in anything I got. Tattoo Removal- I am currently on session 3 and my tattoos are practically gone. The lasering is painful regardless of numbing for me, but it is so fast that it doesn't make it a big deal. Comes to about 30 seconds for me. First I saw Caitlyn and now I see Katie and each person I have seen has been wonderful and informative. Fillers- Lip was easy, I bruised for the first week but the results lasted longer than the anticipated. My lips were nice and full for a little over a year. My crows feet didnt last long but for me they were my smile lines and totally expected. Microblading- Again, kind of painful. It was a process and my stomach growled the entire time. Katie and I both laughed about this which told me that I need a burger before my next session. I was told the results would last about 1yr. l still have full brows and its been about 2+ years since that time frame and people compliment me often on my brows and I have caught people talking about how nice they actually look. Dr Fugo and his staff work on not just creating a great relationship with their patients but also on the work that they do and it shows. I had surgery on my knee due to an injury and Katie took the time to personally email me and see how I am doing and that has meant a whole lot to me. Update: 3 years, almost $20k paid to a different surgeon to fix my body later, I finally built up…read morethe courage to post the photos of how my body looked after Dr. Fugo did my tummy tuck and convinced me I only needed to have lipo on my chest & that their would be little to no excess skin because of the lipo he claimed to use that would help retract the skin. I received a final cease and desist letter this week from his attorney after I posted a truthful review of my experience. I feel the only way to validate my story is to post the photos as proof of my claims of receiving horrible results to not only be truthful but to help someone else not endure what I went through. IMO i receivers horrible results. Most of the photos were taken between the 6-18 months post op mark of tummy tuck and lipo on my chest. I feel instead of sending threatening letters it would have been better to reach out and offer an apology and own up to the fact that maybe you didn't do a good job, and realistically offer some sort of refund. We are humans and make mistakes because no one is perfect but receiving the letter further caused emotional damage due to the fact that I am being nothing but truthful and have no malicious intent. This is my story, my body therefore I deserve to share it. I believe the photos below serve as vindication. Maybe some people won't feel the results were horrible but in my opinion they are. I have plenty more photos all of which are time stamped and can be validated. As I stated below: I was NOT offered a free revision I was told it would be 7k additional for him to fix his work. I was told that was a discount since I was HIS patient. It took me over 2 years to save enough money to have another surgeon FIX what Dr.Fugo was paid to do. Original Review: Horrible results. I had a tummy tuck and he recommended liposuction on my chest after massive weight loss and made my chest look 10x worse than it was. I feel the tummy tuck was botched, the incision was too short (which he admitted it was and needed to be extended) leaving me with a tremendous amount of excess skin in my flanks/ abdomen. When I called the day after my tummy tuck because I was experiencing issues that were not normal it seem like I was being a bother. IMO his bedside manner prior to the procedure was incredible but after the procedure he had a totally different attitude during follow ups when I addressed my concerns. I spent over $16k on the procedure and when I went in for a follow up he told me the incision needed to be extended and I would have to pay another 7k for him to fix HIS MISTAKE. I left and endured mental and emotional trauma for this, I had many emotional nights and couldn't even look in the mirror. I had to spend almost another 20k for a doctor to correct the mess he made. Thank God I found a doctor that was able to do a revision and fix the disaster that was made.I was ashamed to even post the pictures of the way Dr.Fugo left my body after the procedure with him but now I had no choice but to share them to help someone else who is choosing a surgeon. I have hereditary deep lines on my forehead when I emote, and wanted to tackle it preemptively. I made the rookie mistake of going to a very well regarded Dermatologist for forehead and glabella botox, my second and final visit was less than satisfactory. It might have been just a minute difference of millimeters but to me it was the clear precursor to the dreaded Tox Face!! I knew there must be a better way. Someone out there must know what they're doing. Someone who can truly appreciate human anatomy with a natural take on beauty and proportions. Here is where Dr Kim's skills are apparent: while he used just about the same units of botox as the Dermatologist, he made way more injection points with deft hands. Smaller volumes in each site means...no redness! Magical. I know I'm always in the best hands with Dr Kim! His conservative and principled approach to beauty procedures really puts me at ease. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and questions, and gives me informational answers. I trust him fully to give his honest opinion, crucial in a doctor - patient relationship. He has an aesthetic eye which I have grown to regard highly. Each visit is a breeze, no long wait times, and I can always count on a friendly smile from the lovely Dagney. If you're considering rhinoplasty surgery, I would strongly recommend Dr. Pearlman as it is literally his area of expertise. He has experience, is highly regarded by other highly regarded surgons, and my recovery time was very easy (seven days) thanks to his skill. It was determined with her that I would be having a bilateral mastectomy and elected to have reconstruction using my own body tissue. Although there are many options for reconstruction, this seemed the best fit for me. I had only one obstacle. I had become very thin at the time. The stress of life and this new medical challenge had gotten to me, and I dropped weight rapidly. So, could I find a great reconstruction surgeon that could help me in this situation? That terrific breast surgeon suggested that I add Dr. Vasile to my list of reconstruction surgeons that I was interviewing. She had nothing but amazing compliments about her. Prior to selecting a specialist for my series of complicated surgeries, I met with eight reconstruction surgeons in order to find the perfect fit for my circumstances. During our initial consultation, it became obvious to me that Dr. Vasile was by far the best fit for my medical team. Don't let her petite stature and softspoken demeanor fool you. Dr. Vasile is a powerhouse of a surgeon. She is intelligent, a pioneer in her field, proficient at complex surgery, consistent, thorough and has a proven track record. However, she is not all business. Dr. Vasile is dedicated to her patients in every way. She is gifted at performing surgeries on individuals that are going through life-changing periods in their lives. In many cases, emotions are running high while we navigate through the process of mastectomies, reconstruction using our own body tissue and potential follow up surgeries or procedures associated with this. Dr. Vasile is kind, thoughtful, approachable, understanding, sensitive, relatable and available. It made my entire experience less stressful just knowing that I could reach out to Dr. Vasile at any time if issues arose post-surgery. Unlike other offices, you always communicate with her. You are not sent to another physician who is covering. It made a big difference for me considering I had multiple surgeries and preferred to attain my advice directly from Dr. Vasile if I had a question or concern. My experience was the best possible scenario I could have asked for. I will admit, although I never show certain emotions, I was nervous at every surgery I have undergone, except when Dr. Vasile has overseen the ER. I always have full confidence that everything will go perfectly when she is in charge. Breast reconstruction is a very personal matter. In my opinion it gets even more personal when you harvest tissue from other body locations to reconstruct. I have recommended Dr. Vasile to many friends, family members and acquaintances.
