I will happily drive from Towson early in the morning to meet Kevin. He is the best. His demeanor is professional yet I had the most fun when we collaborated together to give me a cut that wasn't "tradtional." I had been going there off and on for a few years because the barber I liked left, but I would go there out of convenience between other barber shops to check out other barbers. I'm not going to mention any names in particular but he's always there, I'm sure you know him, I think he sits in the second chair. My last and final visit was not very good at all, very unprofessional, and I feel violated. I always make appointments, but I have to wait 30 minutes while he cuts someone's hair during the time, I made an appointment for, it never fails and when I'm in his chair he spends more time texting and talking than cutting my hair then rushes to finish towards the end. My last visit with him he walked off in the middle of my haircut, he didn't bother to excuse himself and didn't say anything when he came back either, then pushed me back in my seat when I leaned forward. I feel violated, the only place on my body he should be touching is my head area, not on my chest or anywhere else, I'm a paying customer, not a project to be walked away from to do whatever and finish they're ready. I'm not going to say every barber at Pikasso Kutz are the same, the other barbers that are professional with their customers. My brother was going there too before I told him what happened, he didn't like that at all, and I don't blame him.

I've been growing my hair since New year's and used a hair sponge to create a look I really loved. My hair doesn't grow very fast at all so I was very happy with the length, but didn't mind going down a little bit for the new shape. The man who cut my hair DID NOT comb my hair out before running the clippers across my head, it hurt but he continued anyway. I saw clumps of my hair fall and I knew at that point i had made a HUGE mistake. When I went in that shop I had about 3-4 inches of hair. Now I have less than an inch on top, my face is crap, and if I hadn't told him to fix it, I would have a weird lump of hair going down the center of my head in a sad attempt at a mohawk. NEVER COMING BACK HERE.

Next, he wrapped my face with a hot towel and introduced me to his handy dandy face steamer. My skin felt radiant, nourished, and hydrated after that process. Knowing that I was going to be heading out of town for an event very soon I wanted to get my beard shaped up. I had been attempting to do it and to me it was looking lopsided. I did a fair amount of searching for a barbershop and went through the reviews for them. I came across this one and liked what I saw. I set up my appointment online ahead of time which made it a bit easier. Doing so you have the choice of selecting who you want to service you. Being that I had never been here before I opted for whoever was available at that time. I had set my appointment for shortly after they opened and after my appointment beforehand. Showed up a few minutes early and took my time in the parking lot before going inside. Once inside I was greeted as soon as I walked in and told that I needed to give them just a minute. Once they were set up and ready to go I was called to a chair. Asked what I wanted to have done and with a few vague comments about that, we were off. They were meticulous with my ask and focused. All the while chatting me up. It was comical to hear the banter in here. They had on CNN and their commentary was better than the newscasters. Before I knew it, they were finished and I was ready to go. My beard looked a lot better than it had looked in a long time and I am grateful for the correction of this.
