Tons of barbers here. Rose did my shapeup, usually I'm wary of a woman cutting my hair but she did awesome. Cleaned me up with the razor too for free. Way better than those expensive spots in downtown Bmore. Chill spot, not super loud or stuff and uncomfortable. Definitely hitting this place up again. $12 for a shapeup is great value read more

I ended up coming here because my regular barber was "too busy" for me :/ I yelped (which I usually only do for food) and came across this barbershop. I called and they were sooo pleasant and patient with me as I described what I wanted for my son. Phil was able to take me THAT evening (I called at 5:30 and he took me at 7). When I got there I only waited maybe a couple of minutes. He was MASTERFUL. I when out on a ledge and let him do my EYEBROWS (which are sacred). Tight Image Barbershop kept popping up an Mr. Phillip go to him. Everyone had nothing but positive an nice compliments to say. I was impressed an just had to go an get my long hair cut. To even trust someone well barber to cut my long hair i had to see. From his professionalism, friendly, an just all over creativity he did my haircut!!!!! I love it... Being from new york, I am used to having my hair boxed up properly...I am always nervous about having new people cut my hair because it's hard enough to find someone who can do a fade without giving you a wiffle. Phil lined me up nicely...and because of that, my search for a barber in baltimore is over. Since I've moved to Bmore this place has been my spot! It's the classic barbershop just like the movie. You got crazy conversation, people comin in tryin to sell you everything from baby clothes to new york best sellers. Its the spot to come relax, unwind and hang with the fellas. Once you find a barber there is no replacing him. Once I was referred to my dude Larry knew it was a good find. He is great at his craft. I'm very particular about my hair, especially my beard. He's knows my struggle with a beard of his own he understands. I go in each week like clockwork. The only gripe I have is my appt time isn't always on time. A simple text to my barber gave me a better time as to when id be up. Can't ask for better service than that. Clean shop that caters to the female clientele. Owner Phil typically requires an appointment that in my 6+ years of going has only worked out well for him. :)) Late not by much but for me it's the principle. Your not disappointed when you leave the salon. Take notice of the colorful artwork that's displayed as the artist is right there in the shop & often has prints on hand that are for sale and at times is offering the original masterpiece. read more

It's a black/ African-American barber shop I had to throw that in there to help with searches. It's a nice clean, downtown shop. Parking can be tough if you try to come here on the weekend. Both times I've been there, I didn't wait too long and the cuts were efficient and good. And a cut will run you $20 plus tip. read more

The best barbershop in Baltimore, period. Phil is a creative genius with a pair of clippers--an absolute artist. If you are looking for a nice, tight fade you have got to come here. Phil also cleaned up my beard and lined it up beautifully. But tight image offers more than a great haircut--Phil and the other barbers make you feel at home. Phil really cares about his customers and you can tell in the way he treats people he wants you to have a great experience at the barbershop.
