Rialto Tavern should already know. Their bartender does. Also, the elderly lady who thinks her music is priority at all times.

Loved the friendly vibes here!…read more We were staying nearby passing through Oregon and The Spot was one of the places in town open a little bit later, so we decided to come here and I'm so glad we did. It's a beautiful set up with an outdoor patio set up with lights and fire pits as well as plenty of indoor seating for the cold and rainy weather days. It's a good place for dinner or just to chill over drinks. My friend and I came by Saturday night around 8:30 pm and it wasn't too crowded. We weren't super hungry, so we just got some chips and salsa to share as well as a drink each. The food menu is just one page and looked pretty basic imo, but the drink/cocktail menu is really where The Spot shines. They have a huge selection of specialty margaritas and martinis along with other specialty cocktails. Of course, since it's Oregon, there's a large variety of wines and beers (draft and canned) as well. My friend got one of the beers on tap, and I asked the bartender (also the owner as I found out later) to make me a mocktail. He was able to whip something up with non-alcoholic gin that was tasty. My one issue with my experience here - based on the final amount I paid (it's so much easier to calculate when you don't have to worry about taxes), I think my mocktail was $15 which seemed pricy to me, given that many of the cocktails on the menu are the same price or even cheaper.

We sat at the table with masks in hand but had not yet donned them. This bearded man wearing a filthy white tshirt was not at all deterred by the waitress behind the bar or the cooks behind the counter. He held a whiskey on the rocks. Guess we were expectingbetter. Oh well. Left.

Last night I went to The Horseshow Tavern and after getting to the bar I ordered a Shot of Tequila…read moreand a Dr. Pepper. I was told by the Bartender they had to put water in the shot of Tequila. I thought that was strange and I asked why? He said they just had to because of OLCC rules. I asked if I could have the water on the side and he said no. I said never mind; I will just take the Dr. Pepper. Later I made a post on the Prineville Information page on Facebook giving information out to the community so they do not waste their gas or time, "I went to the Horseshoe Tavern tonight and they water down their drinks, I will not be back". After this happened the normal happened on Facebook and I was attacked like I gave out false information, while so many were defending the bar stating the old owners were to blame for the state of Oregon making them add water to the hard liquor. I was litterly verbally attacked by people of this community, (NOT all of them). The next day the whole post was deleted, and I got a warning from the group admin. I did not realize this until a friend reached out to me with some screen shots of the owners threatening me, Cody and Chris Suing. They own The Horseshoe, Wranglers, and Sons of Beer. I cannot believe that the owners of this establishment would stoop to the level threatening me or any person for only posting the truth and only posting what they are apparently required to tell everyone asking for a shot. By the way, I cannot find anything stating the State makes Businesses water down their drinks. I will be calling the state on Monday. I will not go into their establishments again and any get togethers I have will be somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone going there, speaking the truth will get you threatened.
