They have been around a while and are only one of a couple of Hallmark shops left in the area. They have a large selection but the problem is they have not updated the cards in a very long time. My wife loves the funny anniversary cards but i can't get her any here anymore becaue i've bought them all over the years anf they do not put out different cards. I had to go to Rite Aid up the block and found a nice amount of new cards. They used to have a large variety of Disney plates but they have just a couple now. They also sell Lenox figurines which are expensive. They have lots of trinkets that are good for presents if you are looking for something last minute. They sell Yankkes merchandise too, and i hate the Yankees. read more

What a terrible experience we just had. We have been going to this particular Hallmark for years as an annual tradition. Each Christmas season we spend 300 plus on ornaments for our Christmas collection. Today we walk in there with our two boys and the staff offer no help. We were interested in Sesame Street ornament. They did not have it on the shelves and no one offered to go down and check to see if there were any more. They suggested selling me the floor model. I asked if they can give me and additional battery or a discount on the ornament. The boss had an attitude saying no he rather sell it for regular price. I had 10 Ornaments on the counter ready to purchase. The boss and his staff do not value their customers. They do not represent what Hallmark is all about. I will never buy a single thing from that establishment again. And by the way the store smells like diarrhea. read more

This has been my Hallmark Gold Crown Store for Years. I have been to two other Hallmark stores and this was the Only one that took the time to look through a catalog and find what I needed ! I wanted the Hallmark Light String Adapter, for the older Hallmark ornaments. They even called other locations to see if anyone had them in stock. When they could not find another store that had them, Ria's Hallmark store ordered them for me ! The other two stores did Not offer to order the part. The people in this store are the Friendliest, Helpful and Most Accommodating I have ever met ! Even when I arrived there at 5:00 PM they were still smiling ! Fairly nice store for the area. The store is well stocked with lots of cute items. The staff was friendly and assisted my group. Great for knick knacks and holiday cheer. They have a nice selection of cards for most occasions. The prices are fair to good. I guess the store could have been a little neater but it was stilll one of the nicest store son this strip. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place was so unorganized and the owner is completely unfair. Told me he would hold an item for me, I drove 45 minutes to get there. When we got there he told us it was sold out. Then, for the cherry on top, he sent us the email that it was sold out while we were talking to him in the store. read more

The best hallmark I ever stepped into! The girls were sooooo sweet and helpful they knew exactly what i wanted. I could literally spend hours in there with the large variety of gifts and cards they have. The owner is such a gentleman. I especially love their collections of jewelry beautiful pieces! This is a REAL HALLMARK STORE. don't be fooled the one on avenue U in sheepshead bay doesn't have anything in it but some ornaments cards and lotto. This is a real hallmark store that has all the ornaments you will need for your Christmas tree. They have a awesome selection of glass collectables trinkets ornaments cards precious moments jewelry. The service was very helpful and nice. Beautiful display. There aren't many stores like these left. I needed two ornaments one that my mom has been collecting for 27 years and they had it. I experienced the same problem as listed in an earlier review (no refund). I ordered two picture frames and when the package arrived, there was only one frame inside. The next day I received an email with the RE line of "how did we do?" asking for feedback. I explained the dilemma of the missing frame and received an immediate reply of "did you take out all of the packing?" I responded within minutes telling her I had indeed removed every piece of packing and that I needed the frame for an upcoming Christmas celebration. I followed up a week later with an email asking where were we with the shipment of the second frame and I never heard from her again!!! So much for "how did we do?" read more
